Members Belgrade Trade Union were sprayed with yellow paint during the performance in Futog and the song "Mojne da si čaci".
As Feđa Dimović from the Belgrade union said, they performed tonight at the assembly of citizens of Futog, who invited them to support them.
"Before that, we received information from three sides that we will to be attacked again and that the 'boys' would throw eggs and paint at us, which eventually happened. During the performance of the song 'Mojne da si čaci', several bags with yellow paint flew up, which did not hit us directly. The paint splattered me and almost got into my eye," said Dimović for N1.
As they were later told, he claims, the men who threw the paint were SNS activists.
"However, the citizens reacted in a timely manner, as did the police, which I can praise. Unlike in Subotica, where the police, when they threw eggs at us, calmly watched and let THEM shoot at us, this time the police reacted and arrested them," he said.
The Belgrade union is performing in Požarevac tomorrow, although they assume that the incident could happen there as well.
In the video that was published on social networks, one of those who threw paint at this group is seen being approached by the gathered citizens, after which he receives a blow from one of the people who came to the protest and falls to the ground.
