Employees of Belgrade gymnasiums and members of the Forum of Belgrade Gymnasiums held a warning strike in front of the Sixth Belgrade Gymnasium, and the main demands of the protest were the immediate dismissal of the director of the Sixth Belgrade Gymnasium, Radisav Milić, and the immediate suspension of the disciplinary proceedings initiated against Professor Uroš Tepavac.

Today, one of the oldest high schools in Belgrade celebrates its 90th year of operation, but the school has no formal academy, no guests, and no employees to mark this date.
During the tenure of director Radisav Milić, the school changed three assistant directors, three psychologists, three secretaries, and two administrative workers. One head of accounting took early retirement, another quit her job. The teachers believe that, as time goes by, one gets the impression that after every mistake, the director Radisav Milić is getting stronger and stronger.
Part of the teachers have been on strike since May, demanding the dismissal of director Radisav Milić. After a series of reports to the labor inspectorate and an appeal for help to the Ministry of Education, they announce a hunger strike, on the day when the school should be celebrating its 90th birthday. On the other hand, Milić claims that it is about a few people who have been sabotaging work at the school for a long time and are trying to push their personal ambitions through the small door.
Not even after several reports to the inspection, nor inspection reports confirming the validity of the submitted reports and ordering measures that he did not fulfill, the director of the Belgrade high school, Radisav Milić, was not removed from the position of director. "The sixth high school in Belgrade is an example of the systemic collapse of education in Serbia," says history teacher Željko Matić for the "Vremena" portal.
The professors of the Sixth Belgrade High School addressed the Ministry of Education for the first time in March of this year with the request that the director of the Sixth Belgrade High School, Radisav Milić, be immediately relieved of his duties. Since he took office, according to the professors employed at this gymnasium, he exerted various pressures on the teaching staff, threatened and punished them, and in addition awarded invalid certificates to students.
"The problem has been going on for more than two years, and due to non-response to our advice, suggestions and complaints about omissions in the work, we were forced to turn to the educational inspection and request its action," said teacher Uroš Tepavac.
The Union of High School Students of Serbia (UNSS) published a Letter of Solidarity in which they expressed their support for the teachers of the Sixth Belgrade High School who recently went on strike.
It is stated that the Grammar School Forum repeatedly pointed out the illegal actions of the director of the Sixth Belgrade Grammar School, such as the suspension of mathematics professor Jovan Knežević, disciplinary proceedings against some employees and union members, as well as the invalid certificates he signed. Because of all this, the employees will go on strike on May 31
