The fact that in the JNA offensive in the fall of 1991, in the space of seven days, under unexplained circumstances, two (out of a total of three) high-ranking officers of the Yugoslav Navy were killed today leaves room for speculation, loading and forgetting. This is a concise review of the chronology of the naval war in the Adriatic and an epitaph not only to the two of them, but to all members of the JRM who found themselves unprepared in the whirlwind of circumstances and decisions
