Croatia
Even this year, during the commemoration in Jasenovac, the Croatian government, embodied in Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, did not show that it was ready to do enough to break with the Ustaše once and for all. For now, "tougher penalties" for using the "ready for home" cry are still being considered. Its total ban, under a government levitating between a European image externally and pandering to the right-wing internally, still seems a long way off.
