Informer für AfD im Rosići

This week television Inform celebrated her third birthday, not to say birthday, in the Šumadija village of Rosići. According to tradition, a wedding tent was erected in the village next to Kosjerić, and all the chosen friends, guests and patrons gathered to celebrate the success of the cable channel that changed the television image of Serbia. The television broadcast, which lasted almost continuously, looked like a combination of the finale of a reality show, like Farma, a gathering of analysts, the Editorial Collegium under a tent, and a public celebration dominated by trumpeters and Era Ojdanić. All those experts, military retirees, Putinophiles, conspiracy theorists, people with nanowires, paid and unpaid analysts gathered at the biggest party where it was confirmed that Informer is today the epicenter of Vučić's propaganda, while Pink can only claim the flattering title of "opium for the people" ". In order for the guest list to be complete, Prime Minister Vučević made sure that on his way to Rosići he visited the Osečina Plum Fair, which looked like only an opening group for the main party under the tent. Actually, if you were not invited to Rosice, it seems that you are not important, nor are you part of the ruling elite 8, not only in Pink but in all of Serbia.

Serbia seems to have divided itself again like a ruler, because, miraculously, that Saturday the Kosovo police invaded and occupied all the remaining institutions in the North in several municipalities with a majority Serbian population. We saw thunderous silence in all state tabloid media, and the President, miraculously, was out of the country, in the Czech Republic. That evening, at Ušće, Momčilo Bajagić celebrated 40 years of work with the Instructors, so the other part of Serbia was there, despite the huge crowd and chaotic organization. I would not like to compare the tent in Rosići and Ušće, but it turned out that Serbia was divided between a polite and a decent concert, where you could see several generations of fans and those who wanted to dance to a mix of Chetnik hits at Informer's birthday party live or via broadcast. . The owner of this television station boasted that they are the only patriotic television station that transmits "pure emotion", love for Serbia, while everyone else is either fooling around or hating their own country.

Unfortunately, Informer's birthday showed how contaminated the Serbian media space was in the past year. This television practically continuously attacked those who dared to criticize Vučić and his regime. Without any consequences, political opponents were brutally and primitively insulted, positions were changed at the beck and call of the authorities, all professional and legal regulations were violated, and members of the ruling regime gave legitimacy to this political tabloid.

Despite the punishments, they did not stop undermining the already low level of professionalism in Serbia. Only in the last week, they dealt with the NGO sector, accusing them of being foreign mercenaries, and all the environmental activists who advertised in connection with the "Jadar" project and the exploitation of lithium went through the same hot rabbit.

The love affair between the authorities and the Informer in the printed edition lasted much longer, but it blossomed with with the launch of Informer television, because immediately after the oath, practically all members of the new government were guests on this television. This TV tabloid practically became the most important media fist of the government.

Unfortunately, everything in that picture is wrong and it's all fake. The fake Chetnik Šešelj was under the tent, with Dijana Hrkalović, who led the nanogica around the left leg, while the accompanying guests cheered as if in a joke. The microphone was with the owner of Informer, who greeted the guests, but the only thing missing was a thank you for the gifts brought.

Instead, it marked the victory of the extreme right in the regional elections in Germany. Alternative for Germany was declared a pro-Serbian party and great friends, because on several occasions they criticized the recognition of Kosovo. It is a party that inherits the legacy of National Socialism, but in a polished version that will not come under the law in Germany. Members of this party today talk about the "economic prosperity of Germany" in the era of National Socialism, or minimal unemployment. Ten years ago, this would have been unthinkable, and in the provinces where they have serious support, an increase in racist attacks on migrants of a different skin color has been recorded. You cannot praise those who relativize Nazism and complain about the vampirized Ustashas in Croatia. Those quasi-intellectuals from Rosić seem to have forgotten how the role models of AfD politicians in Serbia shot 100 for one German, not to mention Kragujevac or Kraljevo. We received a public promise that Informer will promote AfD among Serbian voters in Germany for free, because they are our trusted friends. This bizarre outpouring of chauvinism naively identifies the whole of Germany with the current coalition in power, despite the fact that these same Germans have been living with guest workers from the Balkans since the XNUMXs.

Tabloid political illiteracy - used to exclusively communicate in categories of love or hate - unfortunately, vividly depicts the true face of our social reality. There is no place for rational thinking in it, but only emotion is emitted, unfortunately, dominantly negative for all those who do not think the same. In such a media world, our national tradition has been replaced by a tent and chants, foreign policy by fans' passions, and the only criterion for evaluating the media is absolute obedience to the Government. In such a world, the enemy is all around you, and emotions will replace reason. Fortunately, while the stakes were rumbling in Rosići, Bajaga said: "We only need love", and 40 years have confirmed that Bajaga is right after all.
