As announced by that club, on the proposal of the president Ostoja Mijailović, the present members of the Board of Directors unanimously elected Žarko Paspalj as the new sports director of KK Partizan.
"The legendary basketball ace and sports official, thus returned to his Partizan, to be at the head of the sports sector in difficult moments and to put his rich knowledge and experience at the service of solving all open issues", the announcement states.
The statement was issued after the meeting of the Board of Directors of KK Partizan, held in order, as stated, to make strategic decisions for functioning after the irrevocable resignation of coach Željko Obradović and the departure of sports director Zoran Savić.
Obradović resigned after the defeat against Panathinaikos last week, and his address is expected.
