When the clubs go to Europe, they are less ready than they would be to play stronger matches every weekend. That's why it was important to act quickly and decisively. We need a big agreement and everyone's willingness to change", said FSS General Secretary Branko Radujko.
The clubs have been informed that by the end of 2026, the Football Association of Serbia will have the opportunity to build 60 new pitches, some of which will be main and some auxiliary, through UEFA solidarity funds, but also with the help of the state.

"We will have no pardons and will apply the strictest measures." This is our duty and obligation towards society, the state that invests and supports sports so much, as well as towards UEFA, which gives us a strong wind at our backs for the development of Serbian football. The integrity of the competition is very important. Let's try to restore it ourselves, and if it doesn't work, the easiest thing is to bring in foreign judges. We need to change that image, and then additional funds and investors and sponsors will come," said Radujko.
