A large number of chairs are missing in the "Belgrade Arena". Season ticket fans are complaining that for the second year in a row they are not getting what they paid for. The director of "Arena", Goran Grbović, however, tells "Vreme" that fans destroy expensive chairs, and then complain that they are not there.
Season tickets for the ABA and Euroleague are largely sold out. The fans eagerly awaited the start of the new season, but this year they were also met by a sad scene in the "Belgrade Arena", with broken chairs and empty seats where they used to be.
"We pay expensive tickets for sitting, and we don't have the conditions for that." Entire rows of chairs were removed. Instead of them, there are sometimes mobile chairs", says Jovan Đurić, who bought a ticket from KK "Crvena zvezda".
Fans say this is the second season they have seen this situation.
"I advertised the ticket last year, they told me it's up to the 'Arena', it will be fixed." Here is the new season, we still have dozens of games ahead of us that need to be finished, and yet we paid for a seat ticket", says Đurić.
Jovan is also a heart patient, so he adds that it is necessary for him to be able to sit down and rest at least during breaks.
"Even people who pay 80.000 dinars for a ticket for the central part, don't have seats. The lack of chairs forces even those who are lucky enough to find a chair to stand, so they can see the field", says Đurić.

Director of "Arena": Furthermore, different agreements with clubs
"Arena" director Goran Grbović told "Vreme" about these complaints that after this season he will find a solution for repairing and replacing the chairs. He adds, however, that the clubs will have to be invoiced for damages, as well as expect to influence the behavior of fans.
"Fans break chairs and then complain. We warn them before every season to pay attention, to take care, it's not worth it. Believe me, there is no record of a single chair being broken in the Euroleague in twenty years", says Grbović, and that neither the Arena nor the City can withstand that.
"We have insurance, but it is symbolic in relation to the real cost of replacing those chairs." We replace them with replacement chairs that are mobile, but they also break, and half of them are stolen," says Grbović.
Custom-made chairs
The destroyed chairs in question were made specifically for the "Arena" back in 2003 in America.
"It is a chair that supports up to 400 kilograms. To break it, you have to have the intention to do it. All this is also happening due to overcrowding, so I won't go into that now", says Grbović.
He states that they repaired the chairs year after year.
"It happens to us that a fan lights a torch and burns a chair, and that in the more expensive part that costs over 2000 euros. And then he sent us an email that his chair was damaged. We send a picture with the torch and everything as it went, he says what does it matter, I pay dearly for it, it's up to you to fix it", says Grbović.
He also reminds that when the match is over, the concert is held the next day, where again people can't sit down, so problems just keep piling up.
"Here we are vandalizing property, it is about general culture and education. I cannot understand how it happens that 300, 400 chairs break. There are fans who are known for being more aggressive than ours, but they will never damage the club", says Grbović and repeats that they will have to make different agreements with the clubs in the future.
Season tickets for Partizan and Crvena zvezda range in price from 15.000 to 900.000 dinars.

In the elections on May 5, 1935, the government and opposition lists were voted on. Vesna Lalić, an excellent photographer, has passed away. She photographed all the most important social and political events in Serbia, as well as seemingly ordinary everyday moments.
"The one who remains stuck in the sphere of traumatic experiences, who constantly thinks that, here, while we are talking about the book, someone is given the wrong diagnosis, someone is sloppily operated on, someone is receiving therapy that they do not need, someone is losing their hair, that person has a problem because living in fear is not life, and psychotherapy is an expensive thing."
There is, literally, no difference between the one who claims it is day in the middle of the night, or the one who claims to be a giraffe, from the claims we read on billboards: that Vučić is working to unify Serbs and that Serbia is doing better and better day by day.
The pre-election arrests due to the alleged "overthrow of the state" testify to the regime's panic. The bad news for them is - they can't arrest the whole people who decided to defend themselves from progressive beatings and election theft
The ring that tightens around Ćaciland Student list is getting narrower. Because there are more and more spoiled people who see the false prophet for what he is: a street obscener who is fighting Serbia
