Captain Bogdan Bogdanović was among the first to support the students. Later, the support of other basketball players arrived. Nikola Jokić continues to remain silent about the protests, but soon we will at least find out if he is going to the European Championship
This "warm, friendly meeting" is an invitation to remember which of the national team members have supported so far student protests in Serbia.
There is one God captain.
Bogdan Bogdanovic will lead Serbia at the European Parliament, which is expected from August 27 to September 14. This fan favorite, who now holds the title of captain, garnered even more sympathy when he decided to fearlessly show his support for the struggle taking place in the country whose shirt he wears and whose colors he defends.
At the very beginning of the student revolt at the end of 2024, Bogdan announced himself on social networks by sharing a picture from the big protest in Slavia.

He also posted a picture from the time when he played in Sakramen, and as part of a special campaign "freedom" was written on his back.
He continued in the same spirit during the March 15 protest. A fresh allusion to the protests in Serbia came in July when Novak Djokovic pumped at Wimbledon, which Bogdan posted on his Instagram.
Aleksa, Jović, Guduric…
On the Plateau in front of the Assembly, the space now occupied by Students 2.0 from Pionirski Park, we have welcomed the basketball team many times. The last reception was after the Olympic Games.
Then our bronze boys, together with the other athletes, were received by the president himself before going out on the balcony, and the greetings were very cordial.
Some of them, including Bogdanović, later showed that protocols are one thing, and the events in the country are something completely different, also extremely important and serious.
It was from Slavia that everything seemed to start, and the mass of people gathered with their flash lights were announced by Aleksa Avramović, Marko Gudurić, Nikola Jović.
Partizan captain Vanja Marinković published a picture of the Belgrade streets on March 15, and Aleksa and Gudur once again provided support.
Dušan Ristić was even seen at the Vidovdan protest on the streets of Belgrade, while in March Dejan Davidovac was among the protesters.
Vladimir Štimac has been politically active for a long time, and he never misses any protest gathering. Because of this, the former basketball player of Red Star and our national team has already incurred the wrath of the authorities.
Nikola Kalinić, his former representative colleague, was at the protest in Belgrade on March 15, just like Marko Simonović. On the eve of the protest, Rade Zagorac also spoke.
Instead of neutrality, or even support of the government, support for students was chosen by Dejan Bodiroga, Aleksandar Saša Đorđević, Vlade Divac, as well as Partizan coach Željko Obradović.
Waiting for Jokić
Whether Nikola Jokić will be on the list, but not ours for supporting students, but the one for the European Championship, remains to be seen. The national team under the baton of Svetislav Pešić gathers on Monday, July 28 and officially begins preparations for the tournament.
In this period of crisis in the country, Jokić keeps his socio-political views to himself.
This undoubtedly caresses the soul of the president, who will not forget the support he gave to the electoral list "Aleksandar Vučić - Serbia must not stop", before the 2023 elections, as one of 2.000 important figures.

In the elections on May 5, 1935, the government and opposition lists were voted on. Before the elections, the government intimidated teachers and scholars with dismissals and arrests, called opposition candidates Ustasha allies and accused them of organizing the assassination of the king, prevented foreign journalists from reporting...
Vesna Lalić, an excellent photographer, has passed away. She photographed all the most important social and political events in Serbia, as well as seemingly ordinary everyday moments.
"The one who remains stuck in the sphere of traumatic experiences, who constantly thinks that, here, while we are talking about the book, someone is given the wrong diagnosis, someone is sloppily operated on, someone is receiving therapy that they do not need, someone is losing their hair, that person has a problem because living in fear is not life, and psychotherapy is an expensive thing."
There is, literally, no difference between the one who claims it is day in the middle of the night, or the one who claims to be a giraffe, from the claims we read on billboards: that Vučić is working to unify Serbs and that Serbia is doing better and better day by day.
The pre-election arrests due to the alleged "overthrow of the state" testify to the regime's panic. The bad news for them is - they can't arrest the whole people who decided to defend themselves from progressive beatings and election theft
The ring that tightens around Ćaciland Student list is getting narrower. Because there are more and more spoiled people who see the false prophet for what he is: a street obscener who is fighting Serbia
