Since the beginning of this year, and on the proposal of Aleksandra Delic, which was adopted by the Board of Directors at the sessions in February and last week, 15 plays have been removed from the repertoire of the Šabac Theater.
It is important to emphasize that the Arts Council was not consulted on this.
80 percent of actors don't act.
Aleksandra Delic was appointed as the director last March, despite the strong and persistent opposition of the majority of the collective to this happening, which started while she was acting.
The consequence of the director's decision to cancel 15 performances is that 80 percent of the acting ensemble did not step on stage for a year and a half.

Actor Miloš Vojnović, trustee of the union "Nezavisnost" at the Šabac Theater, tells "Vreme" that "it pays more for the director to receive a salary even though we are not acting, than to tell the audience our views from the stage."
During the previous season, only four home-produced titles were played, while the repertoire was filled with more than 20 different ones private productions and guest performances.
In the statement signed by the majority of the collective, it is written that during the previous season, Boris Mišković's production company Beoart mediated most of the guest performances.
Other people's plays are in the repertoire
Miloš Vojnović says that "it hurts the most that our famous plays are not performed because of the director's decision Wardrobes, oleana, Suffered, Dark comedy, Larry Thompson, Karakteri, Marko Kraljević for the second time among the Serbs. Some of them were taken down, and some are not included in the monthly repertoire".
Instead of Oleane of the Šabac Theatre, the same one was played on their stage duodrama in a private production, with Branislav Lečić, which is why there was a protest in front of the theater.

He recalls that one of the director's first moves was to take down the play The lady's mother passed away. and before the scheduled dress rehearsal.
"In order for the ensemble to still play on its own stage, we suggested that she include the play This is not a play that is in our production in the repertoire, we made it to act, but of course she did not agree," says Vojnović.
Three actors
Out of the whole ensemble, only three actors play, and the repertoire includes two plays produced by the Šabac Theatre. They are Next year at the same time i Boy with a red umbrella.
They also play in a play whose premiere has been announced, in Ljubinka and Desanka. This premiere has not yet been announced on the theater's website.
For the second year now, there is no Theater Spring, one of the most important theater festivals in the country and an important cultural identity of Šabac. No explanation.
In its place, the Dani Ljubiša Jovanović festival was announced, whose unofficial selector, according to the information available to the employees, is the private company of Boris Mišković.
Budget of 15 million dinars
In the statement signed by the majority of the collective, it is also written that the funds are directed towards guest and private productions, as well as that the Management Board adopted a rebalancing, which allocated almost 15 million dinars for the production.
"We remind you that the Šabac Theater managed to produce up to eight plays in the season with much smaller funds, while only three titles are planned this year. The rest of the money, we assume, will be directed to performances that Aleksandra Delić and Boris Mišković consider suitable," reads the statement of the majority of the Šabac Theater collective.
It has never happened in this country that a theater was left without 15 performances by the decision of the director, as is happening to the Šabac Theater.
