"You've got the wrong number," said the owner of a female voice who answered a mobile phone number that we have been confirmed by multiple sources as belonging to Aleksandra Delic, the newly appointed director Šabac Theatre, and as soon as she heard a journalist calling her.
And we just wanted to ask why she announced the play "The Lady from the Circle of Two" as a play of the "Slavija" theater when it is not, from which money did she pay for that guest appearance, from which money did she give out free tickets for that play, and how did that guest appearance even come about when it was not in the repertoire.
It is not "Slavia's" production
Namely, tonight (April 10), the play "The Lady from the Circle of Two" written and directed by Saša Pantić, starring Maša Pantić, Andrija Kovač and Saša Pantić, is being hosted at the Šabac Theater. Suddenly, without any notice. It is advertised as a play by the "Slavija" Theater from Belgrade.
Batrić Žarković, the founder and director of the "Slavija" theater whose logo is attached to the aforementioned guest performance, tells the "Vremena" portal that it is "just one of the many guest performances on our stage and is not our production."
He also says that "no one from the Šabac Theater talked to him, nor anyone else from 'Slavia' regarding that play". He adds that it is "Saša Pantić's production, so it must be that he negotiated."
He says that he would not have known about all this, if Miloš Vojnović, the chief trustee of the "Nezavisnost" trade union at the Šabac Theater, had not informed him about it, and that he immediately thanked him for informing him "about the gross abuse of the name of the Slavija Theater, happy that you suspected that we were behind the said guest appearance!"
As well as that "Sabačko Theater and all those who fight for legality and justice will always have our support."
What is the director planning?
Miloš Vojnović, like probably other employees, asks "is the director's repertoire policy that the theater now regularly brings in guest performances instead of playing its own shows and strengthening its own production?".
It is assumed that this is just one more of the director's responses to the two one-hour strikes of employees who were pointed out by the Šabac Theater that Aleksandra Delic is not working for the benefit of the theater.

In February, she canceled five performances, so the theater did not earn any of the possible 750.000 dinars in that month. It is assumed that she wanted to prevent the actors from supporting the students in the blockade from the stage. In March, the performances were played, but at the request of Aleksandra Delić, without marketing, so less than a hundred tickets were sold for each of the six performances (many of which were free tickets). The premiere was cancelled, it is not known why, it is assumed that it cost 1.500.000 dinars. The "Sabac spring" festival was postponed, which, with good organization, brought more income than the founder invested, and this year the founder allocated 6.000.000 dinars for the festival.
Even though they knew all this, the councilors of the Assembly of Šabac voted on April 2 that acting director Delić be promoted to director of the Šabac Theater.
As far as the employees of the theater are aware, free tickets for tonight's guest performance were distributed to workers from Sabac SNS collectives.
