The promotion of the "grande panda" model took place at the celebration of the 125th anniversary of the creation of the Italian car manufacturer Fiat.
The "Grande Panda", the company claims, marks the return of the Fiat brand to the global market, and the new car has been developed on the basis of three key pillars: Italian design, a global platform and local relevance.
The announcement states that sustainability, inclusivity, simplicity and beauty are the values that brought this project to life, while the design was inspired by the iconic panda from the 1980s.
The price of the new model with electric drive will be 25.000 euros less, and the portal "Vrele gume" writes that the electric "Grande Panda" on the Serbian market could cost around 18.000 euros because the state has announced subsidies for the domestic model in the amount of 7000 euros.
The official data is that the "grande panda" stands out from other cars in the B segment thanks to the unique compactness made possible by its small size - 3,99 meters in length, 1,57 meters in height and 1,76 meters in width, while at the same time due to good organization the volume is spacious enough. The trunk has a volume of 361 liters, and the total capacity of the storage compartments located in front of the passenger is 13 liters.

It was announced that an electric car based on the new Citroen C3 will be produced in Kragujevac, and serial production is expected at the end of this year.
Testing since April
In April, RTS received unofficial confirmation that the first electric car produced in Serbia was being tested in Kragujevac because the factory has a test track for new cars. The main safety tests - the so-called "crash" tests - are carried out abroad.
The fact that the factory in Kragujevac is preparing for serial production of the "panda" could also be guessed by the fact that the workers who were trained abroad began to return to Serbia in several stages and were immediately involved in the work related to the production of the new car.
