Can Alta bank disrupt the financial system of Serbia? What messages does the introduction of bankruptcy send - should we trust banks and which ones?

JKP "Belgrade metro and train" has announced a tender worth 2,95 million for the modification of line 3 of the Belgrade metro, which foresees the extension of the route of this line to the airport, as well as the connection with lines 1 and 2
The public-utility company "Belgrade Metro and Train" has announced a tender worth 2,95 billion dinars for the development of design and technical documentation for Line 3 of the Belgrade Metro, which includes the extension of the route, connections with other lines and BG Train, and an assessment of the impact on the environment. it says New economy.
The tender includes a justification study, a conceptual design and an environmental impact study. The value of the tender is estimated at 2,95 billion dinars.
In order to facilitate the transfer of passengers, it was estimated that the extension of line 3 towards the airport is necessary. Also, additional intersections with lines 1 and 2 are requested to facilitate the transfer of passengers.
The defined development plan of the metro system in Belgrade includes three lines. Line 1 connects Makiš and Mirijevo, while Line 2 connects the eastern and western parts of the city, passing through the historic center and New Belgrade, Zemun and Bežanija.
Conceptual solution for Line 3, which was developed by the French company "Egis Rail", and was approved by the City of Belgrade in March 2021. It envisages connecting New Belgrade and Voždovac with intersections at Republic Square, Manjež and near the Arena. It is also planned to extend Line 3 and connect it with Line 2 in the area of the Bežanija cemetery and joint depot.
What is changing in the route of line 3
Line 3 of the Belgrade metro, according to the Conceptual solution, stretches from New Belgrade to Banjica, with a length of 20,8 kilometers with 22 planned stations. The route includes the following stations: Surčinska, Block 61, Gandijeva, IMT, Block 42, Arena, Ušće, Pristanište, Trg Republike, National Assembly, Manjež, Clinical Center, Belgrade Center, Autokomanda, Vitanovačka, TC Stadium, Braće Jerković, Stepe Stepanović, Excise, Spa and Exemption.
In addition to the planned crossings with lines 1 and 2 at the Trg Republike, Manjež and/or Arena stations, the design and technical documentation now also includes the connection of line 3 with the BG train at the Novi Beograd (Ulica Antifašističke borbe) and Vukov spomenik railway stations.
The documentation also foresees solutions for connection with line 2 in the joint depot of Bežanija, as well as extensions towards Nikola Tesla Airport, Kumodraž (in the direction of the future BIO4 campus at the Faculty of Pharmacy), and an extension from Banjica to Kanarevo brdo, Miljakovac and Rakovica.
Up to 100.000 passengers at peak times
Acting director of the "Belgrade Metro and Train" PUK Andreja Mladenović said at a press conference a few months ago that the metro stations are a "serious technical and technological undertaking", and the one that will be built on Republic Square will be located at a depth of 35 meters. For the purpose of its construction, the "Staklenac" building will be demolished.
According to the New economy, each station will, as Mladenović said then, be built according to the model of "four-part wagons", although three will be used initially.
Over time, he added, there will be a need for a larger number of wagons due to the larger number of people.
Thus, the total rolling stock with a reserve will consist of 41 three-part trains for the first line, 40 for the second and 27 for the third.
The travel time on the first line from Železnik to Mirijevo will be 32 minutes, the second from Mirijev to Bežania 40 minutes, and the third from Bežania to Banica will be about 35 minutes.
The study for the number of passengers for the third line of the metro will have to be done again, because the number of passengers will be higher than the original estimates.
"It is estimated that the number of passengers in the rush hour, i.e. prime time, will reach up to 100.000," said the acting director of "Belgrade Metro and Train".

Clients of Alta Bank in Serbia no longer have access to their accounts. Among them are many Russians. When will they be able to get their money? Will they have to say goodbye to sums greater than 50.000 euros?
