The Ministry of Construction has extended contracts with companies for expert supervision of works on the reconstruction and modernization of the Novi Sad - Subotica - state border railway line, Nova ekonomija writes. Among them is Ežis, who supervised the railway station in Novi Sad
A contract with a consortium of six companies, including Ežis, which supervised the Novi Sad railway station, was extended until September 30, 2025, according to the notice published on the public procurement portal, says "New Economy".
"Due to the extension of the deadline for the execution of the works, the duration of the contract is being extended," it is briefly stated in the explanation.
These changes do not foresee an increase in the price of the work, but new changes to the supervision contract, which has already increased in price twice, are still possible, writes New Economy.
The supervision work is carried out by a consortium of six companies - Utiber Road Investment from Hungary with its subsidiary Project Biro Utiber in Serbia, Vikoti, Ežis doo, AG Institut and SDC Professional (entrepreneur Slaviša Ilić).
Of these six companies, Ežis performed direct supervision at the Novi Sad railway station, where a concrete canopy collapsed on November 1 and killed 15 people.
The total value of the supervision contract is around 33,6 million euros, of which Aegis received at least 9,8 million, as New Economy previously reported.
How much did Aegis earn?
Ezis received EUR 9.828.358,53 million for its participation in the project, she wrote. New economy.
This is almost a third (31,27 percent) of the value of the deal. Only the employer received more - the Serbian subsidiary of Hungarian Utiber received 14 million euros, or 44,58 percent.
Together with the parent company in Hungary, which received 2,5 million euros, Utiber received more than 50 percent of the money for the supervision of the entire railway reconstruction and modernization project.
