After a local pop publicly stood up and said the worst about the eleven-year-old boy Viktor Milić for the sole reason that the child likes to crochet, Milić's mother has now announced that he Instagram accounts closed - mostly due to the reports of their fellow citizens from Jagodina.
Viktor Milić, a fifth-grade elementary school student from Jagodina, wanted to weave the longest carpet in the world. He hasn't woven it yet, but that's why he has awakened an astonishing wave of condemnation, disrespect and vulgar behavior among the people of Jagodina.
The boy gathered 400,000 followers because he spoke to them and begged for their number to be as high as possible, adding that he would weave a knot in a carpet for each follower. However, after the media wrote about him, the priest Stefan Rajčić, interestingly, also expressed his opinion through social networks.
"Serbian tradition is not boys who crochet, with Audrey Hepburn caps, golden hairdos and barbie hairstyles! Stop creating false idols and role models! Our role models can be those children who chop wood from the smallest of feet, take care of cows and sheep, drive tractors, fast and take communion! Influencers never!!! Don't impose on us that something is above average and exemplary when it is not!!! Another marketing trick, behind which something is hidden! At the very least destroying the ideals and differences behind men and women! Erasing the Serbian tradition, too," announced priest Stefan Rajčić.
