The owner of the company Alpak Capital, Pedro Vargas Santos David, as of Monday, August 17, was officially registered as a director of all independent media member United groups in Serbia, writes the Nova portal.
As can be seen in the Agency for Economic Registers, the decisions on the appointment of the owner of Alpak capital were adopted on Monday, August 17, 2026.
Mihailo Jovićević, director of the portal, Nova newspaper, as well as the weekly Radar, followed by Aleksandra Mitić, director of Dan Graf, publisher of Danas, as well as Brent Sadler from the position of director of Adria News, i.e. N1, were replaced.

Sadler was also removed from the position of vice-rector of Adria News Nova S, to which he was recently appointed.
In the same package, Janez Živko, who was also the director of Nova S television, was replaced.
The application for enrollment in the position of director was submitted by Pedro Vargas Santos David himself.
