Students in the blockade they announced on Tuesday, during the Svetosava protest under the slogan "Knowledge is power", that they will organize new protests on Sretenje, and today they revealed some details of the planned gatherings.
In February, as they say, two new protests will be held, first in Valjevo on February 14, and then in several places in Šumadija on February 15, students from Kragujevac participating in the organization confirmed for the Nova portal.
What will the protests look like in February?
At the protest planned for February 15, the locations of which have not yet been announced, students will present a retrospective of the struggle of the student movement and remember the first meeting protest in Kragujevac in 2025.
"We will try to cover everything with this protest, the history of violations of the constitution and laws by the current government, such as university autonomy, independent and efficient judiciary and prosecution, free and fair elections, modern Serbia, the rule of law..." said the students from Kragujevac.
As they say, the students do not yet want to speak publicly about other details of the protest, as well as the exact locations.
"The current government does not have to know everything," they said.
Students in the blockade from Kragujevac previously posted on Instagram an announcement of the protest with the inscription "Let's meet again", which will most likely be the slogan of the rally expected on February 15.
Meeting, a year later
The protest in Šumadija will be held exactly one year after the big meeting protest in Kragujevac under the slogan "Let's meet for a meeting".
On that day, tens of thousands of people participated in the fifteen-hour blockade of the central streets of Kregujevac in memory of the 15 victims (the sixteenth victim died later) of the tragic fall of the canopy at the Novi Sad Railway Station, and students from all over Serbia came to the protest on foot.
