The fire also broke out above Canj, which belongs to the municipality of Bar.
According to the head of the Protection and Rescue Service, Bar Ac Vulević, the situation is serious because the flames are threatening residential buildings.
Firefighters are afraid of the spread of the fire, as the wind is predicted to increase.
The fire is 50 meters from the hotel, and the owners appeal to protect the property, since the accommodation facilities are full.
The fire that broke out the night before last in Buljarica after burning a vehicle on the main road, continued to spread through inaccessible areas and reached the area above Čanj.
Fire in Piperi too
It is burning in Piperi, and thick smoke is spreading over Podgorica.
Over 20 vehicles of the Protection Service are on the ground, and they are trying to defend the houses.
The commander of the Podgorica Protection and Rescue Service, Nikola Bojanović, said that all available teams were sent to the scene.
According to him, the situation is quite critical in Piperi.
It also burns in Kuči, Buljarica, Čanj and Bijelo Polje.
