The class teacher will not only monitor the success, but also the mentality of the students, their social life, how they socialize with the children, announced the Minister of Education Slavica Đukić Dejanović.
In the future, the class teacher will have the obligation to monitor the child's social life, as well as his mental state, according to an announcement from the Ministry of Education. Criticisms are coming from educators.
All those elements that characterize a child, the class teacher will have to record in written form, this is a novelty in the education system announced by the responsible minister Slavica Đukić Dejanović.
"The class teacher has this obligation and has been doing it until now, but now those administrative measures are much more precise, to monitor the children's achievements not only in terms of achieved success, but also their governance and behavior." His mentality, which is characteristic for that school environment. What is his social life like, how does he hang out with children, how much empathy does he have, how ready is he for some kind of solidarity? All those elements, which characterize a child, are actually recorded by the class teacher in written form," Đukić Dejanović clarified for TV "Prva".

Although teachers cannot know the soul of each of the 30 students, says the minister, the class teacher and others, how can they.
One of the novelties in the education system will be that, in addition to monitoring the progress of students' knowledge, teachers will now also have to monitor what is happening with their students in terms of psychological characteristics and have the obligation to report this to parents.
"Class teachers, teachers, professors, tutors... perform the most important work in the educational system. "After the May tragedy, we have an obligation to make children's safety one of the first requirements that we must all work on together," says Đukić Dejanović.
What is the goal?
Professor of English Marina Raičević for "Danas" stated that at the beginning of next month, educators in Serbia will receive increased January salaries, while the salaries of class teachers will be especially increased, as the allowance for seniority has been increased from four to seven percent.
