Riots in front of the Arena due to the dismissal of Željko Obradović

Basketball club Partizan officially confirmed on his website that Zeljko Obradovic he is no longer their coach, reports Nova sport.

Partizan supporters then caused an incident in the hall where the club was supposed to hold a training session.

Partizan's basketball players had a training session scheduled for Saturday from 5 p.m. Around 17:20, chaos arose, the fans broke through the cordon and started banging the small Arena, the glass was broken. They chanted Željko Obradović and insulted Aleksandar Vučić and Ostoja Mijailović. Partizan's assistant coach Aleksandar Matović stopped training around 17:40.

Partizan captain Vanja Marinković addressed the crowd after these riots.

"You know whose side we are on. We are here for this coat of arms that we all love the most in the world, we are here for love and for nothing else and we will stay here and die for Partizan. Whatever happens, we cannot influence much, we called, we tried, we are still trying, but what is most important is that we will go out there where it is most important and give our blood and body for this club", said Marinković.

The supporters of the black and white team threatened to interrupt the next match of Partizan, when the Belgrade team will meet Bayern Munich in the 14th round of the Euroleague, if Željko Obradović is not on the bench.
