Kindergarten "Cvetić" and kindergarten "Srna" in Niš, both under the jurisdiction of PU "Pčelica", work largely without usage permits, announced the Freedom and Justice Party in Nis on the basis of official data in the APR.
They state that around 230 children spend their time in these facilities.

The building inspectorate says that they "have no knowledge" about whether the two kindergartens have occupancy permits and that they will check whether they are being used in accordance with the law.
"In the following period, the construction inspection will carry out an inspection and determine the factual situation regarding the use of the kindergarten in accordance with the law", they state.
"When it comes to children, when it comes to the most valuable thing we have, and when they are treated like this, the feeling turns into anger and indignation", according to the statement of SSP Niš signed by Aleksandar M. Robajac, master of electrical engineering and computer science .
The kindergarten opened with a performance by Goca Tržan
The "Cvetić" kindergarten in the Deveti Maj neighborhood was opened with a performance by Gota Tržan in June 2022, and construction began in 2020, three days before the election. However, it was stopped due to disagreements between the project and the situation on the ground.
There are places for 120 children, and the estimated value of the building was, according to the building permit, about 43 million dinars without VAT.
According to data from the official register of APR, that facility received location conditions in March 2019, a construction permit in June 2020, and in July 2022, only after the official opening, were they connected to the infrastructure.
However, according to the data of CEOP of the Agency for Business Registers, the facility still does not have a use permit, so the ownership right has not been registered.
The adaptation was also financed by the Novak Djokovic Foundation
The adaptation of the former MK "Božidar Adžija" into the kindergarten "Srna", apart from the City of Niš, was financed by the Novak Đoković Foundation. It was officially opened in November last year, and the children started two months later. There is room for 110 children. The estimated value of the works was about 36 million dinars without VAT.
They received the location conditions in May 2021, the application for the works was approved in March last year, but there is no use permit, SSP reports.
Along with the application for the issuance of a use permit, the project of the building, the conceptual design with the statements of the investor, expert supervision and the contractor, as well as the report of the commission for technical inspection, which should show that the building is suitable for use, are attached.
