During the hottest part of the summer, citizens reported buses in which the air conditioner did not work, threw out hot air, or was turned on only after entering control. The Trade Union Center - GSP announced complaints against those carriers
Trade Union Center – GSP Beograd and the Association of Public Transport Users of Belgrade published "black list" of the carrier whose vehicles received the largest number of complaints from citizens that they did not include air conditioners in buses in the hottest period of the year or had other machinations with cooling devices.
As stated by the trade union Centar and the Association of Public Transport Users of Belgrade, in the period from July 16 to August 3, 785 reports from citizens were received through the "Together on the Road" portal, and since the beginning of the portal's operation on June 19, as many as 3040 reports have been received just for irregularities in the air conditioning of vehicles, reports "Nova ekonomija".
From these two organizations, they stated that the infamous record holders in terms of the number of complaints from citizens are transport companies: ASP Strela-Obrenovac owned by Miroslav Nikolić, Banbus Obrenovac owned by Filip Kovačević, Transprodukt-bus prevoz Beograd owned by Svetlana Milanović, Lui travel Beograd owned by Miodrag Stojiljčković and C&LC Group doo Zemun owned by Jasmina Savić.
It was also stated that the record holders in terms of the number of citizen reports in GSP are the Karaburma traffic facility, whose director is Žarko Koman, and the Dorćol traffic facility, which is managed by Bojan Tasić.

Boiling passengers
"Two-thirds of the total number of complaints from citizens have been received for the lines where these carriers work. There have been situations where the air conditioner is not turned on, the ventilation works instead of the cooling device, warm air blows out in the vehicle while the outside temperature is over 38 degrees, but also situations where the windows in the vehicle in which the air conditioner is not working cannot be opened or the air conditioner is only turned on when the control enters the vehicle," said Ivan Banković, president of the Centar Union - GSP.
Complaints will be filed against all the mentioned transporters and responsible persons to the competent authorities, because it is necessary that "someone be hit in the pocket in order to come to their senses" and respect their obligations towards the citizens of Belgrade.
"We will monitor every report, every inspection procedure and every fine that is imposed. The rules must apply to everyone, transporters receive a lot of money from the city budget and have obligations that they took on the day they signed the contract with the City. Now we will test whether the City has the strength to deal with arrogant and unscrupulous transporters and disclose this to the public," announced Banković.
