Employees at Pharmacies Belgrade they announced that "no concrete solution" was presented at the meeting with the management of that institution on Wednesday health insurance and payment of 15 back wages.
In the statement, they stated that "despite the dedicated account opened for salaries and work resources, there is no information in the announcement about a potential payment, except for the amount of 11 million, which the city's Secretariat of Health decided for this year to pay for the Internet and part of overhead costs."
"When asked who the employees should contact and which institution made the appointment, we received the answer that the prolongation of the solution for Apoteka Belgrade was due to poor communication with the City Secretariat for Health and that this institution is responsible for the fact that we did not receive the solution six months ago," the employees announced.
They added that "the question remains as to what the other city institutions responsible for Belgrade, the City Assembly and the City Council, did while the Health Secretariat was not doing its job and whether their inaction also caused damage to employees and their families, as well as public funds, because the value of the debt increases every month."
"There remains the question of who in the entire chain of responsibility will be responsible for seven months of not dealing with the problems that employees and citizens have pointed out for a long time, as well as why the management of the institution is pointing out these problems only now," the statement reads.
