A few days ago, the United Media group demanded from the competent state authorities to thoroughly investigate and find out who is behind the third video in a row that is spreading on social networks.
The Association of Serbian Journalists announced that the videos published three times on social networks refer to journalists as "foreign propaganda", someone whose goal is "to destroy Serbian culture and Orthodoxy" and whose "evil intention is to destroy Serbian identity, culture , tradition and faith", while citizens are urged to "resist that media terror".
High-tech crime prosecutor Branko Stamenković told UNS that targeting does not exist as a criminal offense and that none of the potentially harmed journalists and media or their legal representatives have personally addressed the prosecutor's office, after the hunt on social networks.
"Endangering security and other criminal acts are precisely defined by the Criminal Code and the public prosecutor's office can act only in clearly prescribed moments." "Until now, none of the potentially injured parties, their legal representatives or other persons have sent a letter, report or criminal complaint to the Special Prosecutor's Office for VTK," said Stamenković.

Member of the Association of Prosecutors of Serbia Predrag Milovanović says for US that these "video clips are obviously well thought out by an unknown author so that their content does not enter the criminal zone".
The UNS warned that clips by unknown authors, in which insults are directed at the journalists of N1 and Nova S on social networks, and the journalist of the daily newspaper "Danas" is threatened with death, have been published several times in the past month.
The association also, in conversation with prosecutors, judges and lawyers, raised questions about whether there is responsibility for the distribution of such contents and whether such announcements will be qualified as a criminal offense due to threats to safety.
However, Deputy Public Prosecutor Jasmina Paunović believes that there are elements of endangering security and that a reaction from the Prosecutor's Office is needed, and states that in this case it is a criminal offense of "incitement".
"The clip published through social networks represents the targeting of people whose photos are on that clip, in the sense of a negative approach to everything that such people do through their professional engagement," Paunović pointed out.
