ZVORNIK 1992 AND ŠABAC 1994: Dušan Vučković-Repić turned his back...
Last week, Dušan Vučković (12), aka Repić, did not show up for the morning roll call of 42 detainees in the group room of the Belgrade Central Prison. He remained in bed cold and stiff, and it was not difficult to establish that he was dead. The cause of death, according to the order of the investigating judge on duty, will be determined by an autopsy at the Institute of Forensic Medicine.
The name of Dušan Vučković and his brother Vojin aka Žuć, otherwise the commander of the infamous "patriotic" gang called "Yellow Wasps", to which Repić also belonged, appeared in May 1994 when both were brought before the court in Šabac. Dušan for the murder of 16 Muslims (he confessed to seven), wounding 20 detained people in the Čelopeč House of Culture and raping a Muslim woman from whom he incidentally stole a thousand marks, and Vojin for possessing a large amount of weapons.

The process was initially hampered by the fact that no one wanted to testify against the Vučković brothers. Some out of fear, some out of solidarity. On the first day of the trial, the courtroom was full of TV cameras as well as local and foreign journalists, but it soon became clear to everyone that this was a poorly directed attempt to deceive, that is, to create the impression that domestic war criminals are being tried in Serbia. It was done extremely unskillfully, especially since, for example, Vojin and the president of the court panel whispered to each other in close contact, so that the other members of the panel could not hear their mumbling. Of course, on the second day of the trial, no reporter was in the courtroom. No one fell for the cheap trick of a supposed independent and fair trial. Repić was sentenced to seven years in prison, and Vojin to a suspended sentence, but the Supreme Court of Serbia increased Repić's sentence to ten years, which he served and was then released. But not for long, since the court in The Hague conducted an extensive investigation into the crimes committed in Zvornik and the Čelopeč House of Culture and heard over a dozen witnesses, eyewitnesses to the atrocities against innocent civilians - Muslims, and for the first time forwarded extensive documentation to the domestic prosecution for war crimes, from which it was evident that Repić was tried in Šabac for only a fraction of the crimes he committed. He was arrested on March 17 of this year and after the investigation, he was indicted by the War Crimes Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade along with six other defendants for the most monstrous atrocities committed in Zvornik and the surrounding area against innocent civilians from the beginning of May to the middle of July 1992.
Even at the trial of Dušan Vučković in Šabac, the court concluded that he was mentally retarded when he killed and maimed civilians of the Muslim faith imprisoned in the House of Culture in Čelopek. It will be, however, that Dušan was a serious psychopath because how else to explain his atrocities as well as the groups of criminals that, according to the indictment of the War Crimes Prosecutor's Office, he most often led. "On several occasions, both day and night, either all together or in smaller groups or individually, he took money and gold objects from the detained persons and subjected them to physical torture, physical injuries, mutilations and murders, causing great suffering," it is written in indictments. The Prosecution also alleges that Vučković ordered, that is, forced the fathers and sons of imprisoned civilians as well as persons who are not related to each other to commit unnatural fornication. "On an unspecified day, the defendant Vučković ordered the fathers and sons to go on stage in the House of Culture, to then strip naked and have oral sex with each other, mouth and anus, with role changes, which they had to do..." The prosecution names names in the indictment. of fathers and sons. "Vučković ordered the other injured persons to watch it, then the defendant Vučković put the barrel of a small-caliber rifle in Damir Bikić's mouth, and by raising the mouth of the rifle barrel, he forced Damir to trip on his toes, so when he got an excuse from his father that it was the only one for him son, answered that he was gone and killed Damir with a shot in the mouth, and then with the same rifle also killed Salih Hadžiavdić, Hasan Halilović, He killed Fikret Jahijagić, Himza Kuršumović and Alija Atlić and the wounded Šaban Bikić by stabbing him with a knife, during which time the accused Korać Ivan with 'Pufta' was beating other people with a metal and wooden bat..." A man nicknamed Pufta took part in many of the atrocities committed. which the War Crimes Prosecution failed to identify and find. The indictment accuses the aforementioned Pufta of having cut off the penises of two Muslims with a knife on 13 June 6 (the prosecution names the names) and that Dušan Vučković cut off Enes Čikarić's ear and ordered that they must eat their severed organs, during which time the accused Ivan Korać was in front of the House of culture killed Nurija Hadžiabdić and another unknown person by shooting from an automatic rifle..."
In addition to Dušan Vučković, the War Crimes Prosecution filed an indictment against Branko Grujić (61), Branko Popović (56), Dragan Slavković (43), Ivan Korać (33), Siniša Filipović (31) and Dragutin Dragićević (37).
Branko Grujić and Branko Popović are accused of crimes committed in the House of Culture, and Grujić and Popović are also charged with the forced relocation of the civilian population from the villages of Kozluk and Skočić.
