Why did everyone who engaged in the use of an unspecified type of acoustic weapon at the student protest on March 15 become an enemy of the state, a terrorist and the assassin of Vučić? Why would Beria envy Bija for this operation? How the regime in Belgrade in 2026 is trying to create an atmosphere similar to that of Moscow in 1937
Police and secret services in Serbia do not deal with security people and the state. On the contrary - their main and only task is a special war against the citizens of their own country. Nothing is bad for them. While this number is being written, one of the most heinous regime-Udba actions in recent history is currently underway.
On Monday, June 22nd Military and political commentator Aleksandar Radić was detained, after the police searched his apartment. And the editor of "Beta", Vojkan Kostić, because of reporting on the commotion in our colleague's home, faked an informative interview in Mup. What is it about?
About nothing else but the operation "Attempt to shoot Vučić". That's the name of the special shows broadcast simultaneously on tabloid television a few days ago. In them, anyone who engaged in the use of an unspecified type of acoustic weapon at the student protest on March 15 became an enemy of the state, a terrorist and an assassin of the President of Serbia. Also his family, claim Ana Brnabić and others like her. And in the same context, Vučić himself said "that they shot freely" at him and "killed me like a man."
Of course, no one shot at the head of state and the entire Ćaciland. However, he is now creating a Stalinist purge based on the illegally obtained and misused discussion of a student meeting discussing the security aspects of mass protests. Let the people be clear: the police and the BIA did not raid the Faculty of Philosophy and the Rectorate because of the suspicion that the students had "staged a sound cannon" but because of the death of a student on the plateau between these two institutions. One has nothing to do with the other.
But it was a unique opportunity for the services to obtain student materials. Further, it is easy, said the progressive trust of Udba brains and went straight to mounting the persecution. It was called the preparation of an act against the constitutional order and security of Serbia or something similar. Terrorism is also mentioned in government circles...
Many are targeted by the regime: "organizers and implementers of the simulation of the action of the sound cannon", journalists like colleagues Radić and Kostić, politicians and public figures after expressing their opinions about the "sound cannon" affair, a large number of citizens who sought medical help on March 15, 2025 and later... And all after a year and three months...
"Comrade Stalin, we wouldn't have remembered this either," could coldly say Lavrentije Beria, the sadistic head of the Stalinist secret police.
But what is the goal of this Udba operation, the likes of which Serbia has not seen even under Slobodan Milosevic? Why was colleague Radić detained, and his family suffered police harassment? Well - for nothing.
That is, because the current government directly violates Article 46 of the Constitution of Serbia, which is the right to freedom of opinion and expression. It is not Radić who is disrupting the constitutional arrangement and security of Serbia, but the progressive coalition of wild police-bijaco-criminal-police factions. Today there are two Serbias. The first carries a phantom and a club and the second receives blows; the first protects the police, the second outlaws the law. The middle is getting smaller.
The public is looking for a system in every regime scandal and folly. Is there one in this one? There is a lot of speculation. Thus, the operation "Attempt to shoot Vučić" shows the criminalization and persecution of students in order to make it dramatically more difficult for them to participate in the elections. There are also speculations that the government could ban their movement due to "terrorism" - for now they are only "extremists".
Intimidation of citizens before protests (Novi Sad and Kraljevo, June 20 and 28), diverting public attention from regime scandals such as the one with Veselin Milić, hawking the weakened progressive-radical electorate before the rally in Belgrade on June 27, Vučić's simulation of strength and consolidation (see texts on pages 6, 12, 15 and 16) cost the same. And it is also possible that everything is a consequence of the president's personal pism, some kind of infantile revenge. It is only certain that Serbia has entered a phase of intensified repression. Legal and personal insecurity have become the rule, legal protection is the exception.
The country reached the late Vučić period. Thus, an omniscient and omnipotent leader, a monolithic and disciplined party, constant persecution of political opponents and dissidents, firm control over ninety percent of the media, the collapse of institutions and civilizational achievements, the collapse of education, health and most other traditional state affairs, maintaining power solely thanks to the police, secret services and party paramilitary squadrons. In return, the regime more than ever expects the people to rejoice over the Expo, the lookout point near Čačak and similar blessings of the "golden age". This includes political and any other violence. If this situation reminds someone of Stalin's Russia, they are right.
Operation "Attempt to shoot Vučić" is trying to create an atmosphere in Belgrade in 2026 similar to the one in Moscow in 1937. Journalists greet each other in telephone conversations with - "You're here, they haven't fired you yet". Because, as things stand, anyone can be detained for anything - a years-old text, a television report or a statement. Nebojša Stefanović and VJT are always on hand to declare them a criminal offense against the constitutional order and security of Serbia.
The servants who fill the "sound cannon" are similar to Stalin's sycophants. Those in Serbia do not believe in anything. Their motto is - use, nase and podase. Of course, with a few lines of cocaine. Today, SNS reminds us of Mira Marković's JUL from the end of the nineties. There is the same division into clans, the same mutual rivalry, greed, thirst for power, hypocrisy and paranoia.
In a country where the first democratically elected prime minister was killed in 2003, Vučić's bidding with his "shootings" is distasteful, to say the least. But their meaning is broader than the consolidation of the cult of personality and political propaganda. After the assassination of Zoran Đinđić, a state of emergency was imposed. Does the current regime think that this is also an option, referring to the danger of the president of Serbia, especially in light of the upcoming elections? No one has an answer.
Spins and paranoia have been the true nature of the progressive regime since the beginning. Hardly any of them know what the truth is anymore. Hooked on its own propaganda, the regime has long been making moves on the other side of the rational.
There are consequences. The first is clear - the government presents Serbia as an unstable country on the verge of neo-Stalinism. The second consequence follows from the first - citizens are yet to see the expansion and strengthening of repression. Will the current regime coup blow out like all those televised wars, coups and assassinations against Vučić? It is easily possible, but there is always a first time. Especially when many of the things with which they used to rule until now are no longer in their hands.
The absence of a request for the detention of Aleksandar Radić showed that there is still common sense in the High Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade. But it doesn't have to be like that in any other case. And, most likely, they won't.
Because of all that and much more, the citizens of Serbia must say to the progressive regime the same thing that in 1940 British MP Leo Amery - paraphrasing Oliver Cromwell - said to the face of Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain before his fall. And it reads: "You have been sitting here too long for any good you have done. "In the name of God – go."

One of their arguments is that we are afraid to go to the debate with Vučić. They do not understand that it is their punishment. This is a punishment for Aleksandar Vučić, who for 14 years conducted exclusively a monologue. For fourteen years he did not allow anyone any kind of dialogue, and now he would like to be rewarded or pardoned with the opportunity to talk to us. Well, he won't be able to. These elections are not elections about Serbia's membership in the European Union, Kosovo and Metohija, gay marriage, tax policy or any other single political issue. Although parties on the fringes of political power try to impose these themes, at the heart of the upcoming political election is a much simpler dilemma: change or preserve the existing order. For more than a year now, surveys have shown that this is the primary dilemma on the ballot
In the RS, 19.800 people registered for the elections in Serbia, who will be able to vote at 28 polling stations. It remains unknown how many of them will cross the Drina on October 25 and vote in Serbia. In any case, I do not believe that the voters from Republika Srpska are the ones who will decide the winner of the elections in Serbia. Realistically, the voters from Republika Srpska can influence a little, but it seems that they are symbolically very important to both Vučić and the opposition.
There is, literally, no difference between the one who claims it is day in the middle of the night, or the one who claims to be a giraffe, from the claims we read on billboards: that Vučić is working to unify Serbs and that Serbia is doing better and better day by day.
The pre-election arrests due to the alleged "overthrow of the state" testify to the regime's panic. The bad news for them is - they can't arrest the whole people who decided to defend themselves from progressive beatings and election theft
