As he told Danas, he found out about this around 3:30 a.m., when a truck driver from Kikinda called him on the phone, who, while passing by his house, saw that the bus was on fire.

"When I got out, I saw something, the bus was all in flames. I called the firemen who came to put out the fire, but it was too late, because it was all already burnt," says Jaćimović.
He adds that the police also came out and are currently waiting for a team from Novi Sad to investigate. He claims that the fire was set.
"I know exactly who set the bus on fire, but I won't name them publicly. I told the police that, but this is another crime committed by the SNS mafia," he says.
Jaćimović says that the bus he used to block the municipality of Žabalj was set on fire a few months ago, and that he had been driving students on it for a long time.
MUP: Intensive work to find the perpetrator
The police department in Novi Sad is intensively working to shed light on the burning of Milomir Jaćimović's bus and to establish all the circumstances and facts, including the identification and finding of the perpetrator, N1 announced.
The police stated that immediately after receiving a report that the bus parked at the entrance to Đurđeva was on fire, firefighters and members of the police went to the scene, that the fire was extinguished and that the police immediately informed the competent public prosecutor about the event.
They added that after the investigation, which was carried out by members of the Police Administration and the Administration for Emergency Situations in Novi Sad, the basic public prosecutor qualified the event as the criminal offense of causing general danger.
"The police department in Novi Sad is working intensively on elucidating this criminal act and establishing all the circumstances and facts, including the identification and finding of the perpetrator," said the police.
