Regime protectors of partners from the Sky application

Belgrade lawyer Ivan Ninić tells "Vreme" that in Serbia the use of Sky communication is strictly controlled and surgically limited exclusively to the level of perpetrators on the ground, while in Montenegro it has become a tool for dismantling the criminalized state apparatus. He believes that the reasons for this selective application are legal and political in nature, because in Serbia Aleksandar Vučić still controls the security sector and decides what will be the subject of prosecutorial proceedings.

Serbia as a platform for other people's strategies

Empirical research shows a strong connection between clientelistic regimes and poverty. When voters are vulnerable, a small, immediate, and selective benefit—a job, a one-off, a subsidy, a gift, local government attention—may have greater political value than the abstract benefit of long-term growth, institutions, or public goods. Poorer voters are cheaper to maintain and easier to mobilize. Thus, a vicious circle is created between poverty and bad policies

It is a good thing, however, that most of the opposition factors have announced that they will support the presidential candidate proposed by the student list, so this can be a place for some sort of synergy. Of course, we can hope that the presidential candidate of the student list will be someone who can be acceptable to the widest electorate. The good news is that no irreparable mistakes have been made so far

Which is why corruption is a cancer of society, and Vučić is the main oncologist who works diligently on the unhindered spread of cancer cells. In other words, can Serbia, according to Machiavelli's analysis, ever recover from Vučić? This is why a good conflict is healing for society, and why public branding of one person leads to ruin
