What is wrong with the statement of the director of DADOV?
"Individual cases of abuse of minor children for general political events do not serve parents well, because the DADOV theater is a place where over 500 children who are eager for knowledge gather, while they use the theater stage to learn acting, diction, stage movement, stage fights and acrobatics. "
This is part of the statement published on Instagram by Vladimir Mijović, signed as the director of the Drama Studio of the Vračar Youth Center - DADOV.
Reprimanding the parents for their children daring to show maturity and the ability to recognize and condemn injustice, which is clearly not to the director's liking, is the director's personal right, but it does not mean that he can represent his private beliefs as the position of the institution by signing as its leader . In the theater, not only "acting, diction, stage movement and acrobatics" are taught. It teaches children, just like adults, to distinguish good from evil, justice from injustice, and especially truth from lies, which today's generation of DADOV has learned well, just like the previous ones from a period of about 60 years.
The director's job is always and everywhere to lead the institution within the framework of his competences and to ensure its survival and progress, which Mijović has successfully done so far. At this point, the least he should do is retract his statement and apologize to the public, DADOV members, their parents, as well as former members who created DADOV for decades. We distance ourselves from such statements and give full support to young people in the fight for a solidary and just society.
Former members DADOV-a: Slavka Srdić Janković, Jelisaveta Seka Sabljic, Vladimir Putnik, Svetlana Ceca Bojković, Ivan Janković, Brane Popovic, Milica Mihajlović, Irena Ristić, Zoran Maravic, Alja Suvacharov, Uros Jankovic
New attack on students
Violence in front of the Law Office
In the night between Monday and Tuesday, students of the Belgrade Faculty of Law who were on duty at the blockade were attacked. Seven of them reported minor injuries, and the latest news before the end of this issue says that the public prosecutor of the First Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade ordered the police to determine the identity of all participants in the event.
It was also ordered to obtain medical documentation about the injuries sustained by the injured, video surveillance cameras located inside the faculty building, on the plateau in front of the faculty, as well as on the surrounding streets, as well as obtaining other data necessary for elucidating the event. According to the testimony of the attacked students, several young men and two girls participated in the three incidents, who physically attacked them and threw glass and plastic bottles at them.
Upon arriving in front of the faculty, the police managed to detain and identify one of the attackers, and during the day the students had to refute the Minister of the Interior, Ivica Dačić, who minimized the incident and stated that members of the police are not allowed to enter the Faculty of Law.
"We had correct communication with the police all the time. They are currently in the building of our faculty, and together with us they are reviewing the footage of the security cameras in order to determine the identity of the attackers and the course of events", announced the students of the Faculty of Law. The opposition parties strongly condemned the attack on the students and asked the competent authorities to protect them and identify the attackers.

Abolition of "trolls" in Belgrade
Jovanović: Out of his mind
"We are canceling the trolleybuses run by GSP in order to introduce electric buses owned by a private person from Obrenovac and pay him 1,1 billion euros over the next 20 years. It's mind-boggling. Neither will Strela invest in the infrastructure that remains in the city, nor have they ever operated a system of electric vehicles. If it wasn't tragic, it would be funny," Nikola Jovanović, director of the Center for Local Self-Government, told our website, and emphasized that the City of Belgrade could buy as many as 1,1 modern trolleybuses for that 1.833 billion euros.
Although trolleybus transportation in Belgrade has a rich history, the ruling majority led by Mayor Aleksandar Šapić decided to abolish it due to outdated and inefficient rolling stock and equipment. GSP Belgrade has 92 trolleybuses with an average age of 15 years, and the newest ones were purchased 13 years ago.
"Electric buses should replace older diesels, not vehicles that are already electric. It is true that we have old trolleybuses, but we also have 50 kilometers of catenary network in which a lot has been invested and which is in good condition. Why throw it away? The best solution is to buy new trolleybuses with a 'green' favorable loan, and gradually replace the old diesels with electric buses", Nikola Jovanović pointed out and added that the service life of electric buses is half that of trolleybuses, that buses use a battery that after seven years of use must that it changes, that their capacity is much smaller, etc.
Kragujevac Inquiry Committee
Market - Skadar near Lepenica
More than four and a half years ago, the reconstruction of the Market building in Kragujevac began, and instead of 200, the works have been going on for more than 1.600 days, and they are not finished yet. In the meantime, the price has increased several times - from two to 10 million euros. This was stated, among other things, by the members of the City Assembly Inquiry Committee for establishing the facts about the reconstruction of the City Market from the opposition ranks. The three of them left the work of the Board and separated their opinion on omissions and responsibility. "We have reached our conclusions, 25 of them, but the representatives of the ruling majority in the Survey Committee have reached their shameful conclusion and the public must be aware of all the facts related to the reconstruction of the Market", said Milan Milosavljević from the group "Za Kragujevac - Znamo se!" and emphasized that the entire project was done outside the legal procedure.
And his colleague Ivan Dubljanin from the Democratic Party said that "this kind of abuse must not go unpunished, because it is one of the biggest not only in Kragujevac but in Serbia when it comes to corruption, elementary incompetence and misuse of resources".
The Kragujevac market was built in 1929 and is under state protection as a cultural and historical monument. Already at the beginning of the works, a part of the wall and the facade collapsed, and it was also determined that the removal of the gallery would endanger the statics of the building, and only last year was a new project based on the law and procedure done.
"For five years, nothing has been done, and so much money of the citizens and the city of Kragujevac has been wasted." The public must know these details, as well as the culprits to be held accountable", concluded former mayor Veroljub Stevanović (Together for Šumadija).

Police warn

From December 1 of last year to January 7 of this year, 44 people were injured by pyrotechnics, of which 24 were children, 10 minors and 10 adults, the Ministry of the Interior announced and emphasized that eight children and five minors suffered serious injuries.
Burns, injuries to the hands, face and eyes are consequences that can last a lifetime, reminds the MUP and calls on parents to set an example and warn children that firecrackers are not for play and that one moment of inattention can lead to serious injuries and permanent disability.
According to the testimony of a doctor from the Institute for Mother and Child, the largest number of injuries to children occurs during the check, which is why the firecracker did not explode, but lately also because of the so-called challenges - who will hold the firecracker in their hand longer.

According to the Commissioner for Independence of the High Council of Prosecutors, pressure on prosecutors in Serbia comes from various sources, but it seems not from the office of President Aleksandar Vučić. "The avoidance of Commissioner Milan Tkalac to explicitly state his position when it comes to the statements of the President of the Republic is professionally unacceptable," the President of the Association of Prosecutors of Serbia, Lidija Komlen Nikolić, told Vreme. What can the president say without it being understood as interfering with the independence of the judiciary
The progressive government is fighting hand and foot to win in two different places, because they would not dare to look at Aleksandar Vučić if they lose. On the other hand, the rest of Serbia is rooting for them to start from Zaječar and Kosjerić, so that they "go in order" across the country and thus see the backs of those who have been governing in every place, every street and every village for 13 years.
All the members of this body have never been changed. The election of Council members has never taken place in such a heated socio-political atmosphere. Brussels has never been so interested in the course and outcome of this process. Hence so much nervousness, passion and established illegalities for which no one has yet been held accountable
The toll of disobeying the law and high level corruption is rapidly taking an even greater toll. Let's list some cases: part of the ceiling at the Cardiology Clinic in Niš fell, and the ceiling at the Railway Station in Ćuprija also rattled. Previously, a pedestrian crossing bridge near the village of Vlahovo collapsed and a part of the wall at the school in Pećinci collapsed (two girls were slightly injured). There are also collapses of the concrete structure of the overpass on the expressway Požarevac-Veliko Gradište, ceiling falls in the school in Užice, in Saranov near Rača, at the Institute of Public Health in Kragujevac and near the kindergarten "Maja" in New Belgrade. So, all that from November 1 last year until today. It's not enough
While the student marathoners, after 18 days of relay running and 2000 kilometers covered, are talking to EU parliamentarians in Brussels, Vučić is meeting with the president of the European Council. In the background of these two events, the government's evident influence on the judiciary is reflected in two decisions: the extension of the detention of activists from Novi Sad and the requalification of the offense of the woman who hit a student with a car
The Republic of Serbia is in danger. If we remain silent on the rigged process against political prisoners in Novi Sad and the Kraljeva case where the victims were declared violent, soon we will all go on hunger and thirst strikes for a shred of justice
The regime's retaliation will be dire if the resistance falters. Now they want to imprison the people who talked about overthrowing the government because they were supposedly overthrowing the state. But the state was hijacked and overthrown by the regime a long time ago
The Ministry of Public Investment submitted a request for a building permit for the construction of a new building for the Belgrade Philharmonic. Given that it is known that the project is too expensive and that there is no money for it, it seems that this too is just another colorful lie
