Bomb reports: Evacuated students in 115 primary and secondary schools in Belgrade

Members of the counter-subversion teams of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia are on the ground due to anonymous reports about bombs, and classes in the first shift have been interrupted in order to preserve the safety of students and employees.

According to the first information, notifications about planted explosive devices were sent to the e-mail addresses of 78 primary and 37 secondary schools in Belgrade municipalities, the Ministry of Education announced. The check carried out by members of the counter-sabotage teams of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia is ongoing.

MUP teams are on the ground, students and employees have been evacuated, reports RTS.

As stated in the announcement of the Ministry of Education, in order to ensure the safety of students and employees, classes in the first shift were interrupted until the end of the police check, and some schools have already been inspected and classes are taking place in them without problems.

Schools will inform students and their parents about all relevant information for teaching through regular communication channels.

In communication with the MUP, the school principals will receive information when the school will be inspected and make a decision for the afternoon shift.
