The protest in front of the Belgrade Assembly ended, the goal of which was to block the session of the Belgrade Assembly, which turned out to be impossible for the very modest number of citizens who appeared in front of the Belgrade Assembly building.
A small number of people, members of the United Action of Activists and Choirs Belgrade, gathered on Friday morning outside Belgrade Assembly, on the eve of the beginning of the session, which has about thirty items on its agenda.
They were joined by representatives of the employees of "Apoteka Beograd".
"You have sold everything", "Hey thieves", "Sapić is an illiterate thief", "Belgrade has been robbed and humiliated", "The worst ever", "Look what the center of the city looks like", "Look at what is under your window", "Investigation and imprisonment, responsibility, lustration", are some of the shouts gathered.

They announced that they will try to block the session of the city parliament, scheduled for 10 o'clock.
Activist Đorđe Miketić, addressing the mayor Aleksandar Šapić, mentioned the illegal construction on Bežanijska kosa, the villa in Trieste, the most expensive trams in the world that do not fit the rails, the beatings in the security of the city, the drilling of the Sava Embankment and the demolition of the Old Sava Bridge.
The session of the City Assembly is the first since the State Audit Institution found irregularities in the operations of the city authorities and requested the removal of the mayor of Šapić.
Among the thirty items on the agenda, there is no discussion about Šapić.
What is the Belgrade Assembly debating?
Councilors Belgrade City Assembly will discuss at today's (Friday, September 19) session the Proposal for a Decision on giving consent to the rebalancing of the business program for 2025 of several public companies, the city administration announced.
On the other hand, Belgrade citizens' assemblies and activists they announced the blockade of the City Assembly.
Agenda of the session
As announced by the city administration, the agenda of today's session will also include proposals for detailed regulation plans that are important for the development of the city, among which are the Proposal for a detailed regulation plan for the business park along the E-70 highway north of the "Aerodrom" interchange, a detailed regulation plan for the business park along the E75 Batajnica highway section.
Also on the agenda are the Proposal to amend the Plan of detailed regulation of four local communities of the municipalities of Zvezdara and Voždovac - the "Padina" settlement for a macro-construction park, as well as several proposals for decisions on the development of detailed regulation plans, writes Beta.
The councilors will also decide on the Proposal for a decision on giving consent to the final draft of annex 3 of the Public-Private Partnership Agreement for entrusting the performance of the communal activity of public bus city transport of passengers on the part of the radial route lines in the territory of the municipalities of Grocka and Zvezdara (route 300) and Voždovac (route 400), Čukarica and Rakovica (route 500) and on the part of the lines with the majority of the route length in the mentioned municipalities, including Municipality of Savski Venac.
Also on the agenda is the Proposal for a Decision on Amendments and Supplements to the Decision on Setting Up a System of Public Bicycles in the City of Belgrade, as well as the Proposal for a Decision on Amendments to the Decision on Establishing Cooperation between the City of Belgrade and the Chinese City of Xiamen.
The Proposal for a Decision on Amendments to the Decision on Permanent Manifestations in the Field of Culture of Importance for the City of Belgrade, Proposal for a Decision on Amendments to the Decision on Communal Order, as well as Proposal for a Decision on Amendments to the Decision on Placing Floating Objects on Water Land in the City of Belgrade will also be considered.
Choruses are calling for a blockade of the City Assembly
On Thursday, there was a joint action of activists and choirs Belgrade invited all dissatisfied citizens of Belgrade to the blockade sessions City Assembly on Friday, September 19, at 9 a.m. at Nikola Pašić Square.
In the announcement, it was stated that the citizens will attempt to dissolve the city parliament by blocking the session of the Belgrade City Assembly, according to FoNet.
"The last session of the city of Belgrade was on June 27, and by law, a new one must be organized within three months. Therefore, if the blockade of the session succeeds, and the new session is not held until September 27, the Belgrade parliament can be dissolved," pointed out the United Action of Activists and Choirs of Belgrade.
They stated that "money from the Belgrade budget is leaking into private hands and Burazera companies", employees' salaries are delayed and that Belgrade is in debt with commercial banks to pay VAT on "the most expensive trams in the world that do not fit our rail system".
They added that the privatization and suffocation of GSP, the shutdown of Apoteka Beograd and the sale of shops and the exclusion of the public from the public discussion regarding the expansion of Belgrade on the water, are continuing.
The protest is organized by more than 10 Belgrade choirs and activist organizations, and the trade union "Opstanak" and employees of Apoteca Belgrade will also participate.
