The informal group of employees of Radio and Television of Serbia "Naš pRoTeSt" expressed their concern that, since the beginning of the blockade of RTS, the management of the public service has not officially addressed them about the fact that they do not have "any instructions" on how they can exercise "the right to work in this crisis situation".
"Why is the management discriminating by inviting only a small part of the employees to work, while the other, larger part is ignored? Why are we being denied the right to work?" stated in the statement Naš pRoTeSt, with a call to the RTS management to "urgently address them with clear instructions".
It was also requested that "the names and surnames of the persons who edit the news since the blockade of the RTS building and the broadcasting of programs from another location began".
"We demand from the editor-in-chief of the Information Program Nenad LJ. Stefanović and his assistants Gorislav Papić and Zoran Stanojević to urgently inform us who is the author of the text in which the students in the blockade are compared to the Nazis, which was read on the Dnevnik show on April 16. Who among the editors approved the reading of the text? We demand the immediate identification of the names of the authors and editors and their immediate resignation," the Informal Group of Employees in Radio-television of Serbia Our ProTeSt.
