Representatives of both opposition coalitions in Zajecaru they announced, after reviewing the election materials, that they would not agree to the repetition of local elections at certain polling stations, but rather demanded their annulment and the announcement of new ones under fair and honest conditions.
Opposition representatives announced that they recorded irregularities and irregularities at every polling station out of a total of 69, and at some polling stations there were more, the Za media portal reports.
According to Uglješa Đuričković from the "Change we believe in" coalition, people who only have a place of residence in Zaječar and not a place of residence voted, then those who are not from Zaječar at all, but also the deceased, which grossly violated the electoral will and, as he stated, stole 1.600 votes.
The legal team of the opposition filed objections, for which the deadline was last night at 20:72 p.m., and the City Election Commission should respond to them within XNUMX hours.
The opposition also announced criminal charges against persons who engaged in illegal activities during the campaign and on election day.
As they pointed out, the public prosecutor should already act on the basis of the knowledge presented to the public in recent days.
Vučić: They found nothing
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić he commented in Odesa, where he attended the Ukraine - Southeast Europe summit, the opposition claims that the Serbian Progressive Party cheated in the local elections in Zaječar.
"They found nothing, only one certificate for voting rights in one place," ruled Vučić. "It is completely pointless and will receive a response from both the City and Republican Election Commissions. If you have any voting materials that were thrown from somewhere, the elections must be repeated there."
However, Uglješa Đuričković from the "Change we believe in" list claims that the opposition had insight into the voter list on Thursday and "into the ways in which the local elections in Zaječar were stolen", reported N1.
He says that the difference of 1600 votes between the SNS and the two opposition lists that passed the census was caused by the fact that the votes of people who "were immobile or for some reason could not vote at the polling station" were recorded for the progressives.
"Their commissions that went from house to house", claims Đuričković, "in 90 percent of cases signed the ballots themselves, they signed them with a fingerprint or there was no signature at all", and then they counted that as a vote for Aleksandar Vučić's list.
Voting without residence
"Today, we also established that there are people on the voter list who voted only with residence, which is prohibited by law. They have no residence, so neither the right to vote, nor the right to be on the voter list. We found such people at every polling station," he said.
He assessed that the most scandalous thing that the opposition discovered on Thursday was the duplicate voter list, which, as he claims, was thrown into the garbage container by Milan Stanković, a high official of the SNS.
Theft, threats and blackmail
Đuričković assessed that SNS "trampled on humanity" in Zaječar.
"They turned their voters into rags that are sold for a kilo of sugar, a kilo of flour, for a bottle of olive oil or for a washing machine. We found that they were registered in the voter list and passed away. And that entire voter list was held by Stankovic and the Serbian Progressive Party in the previous months," he said.
And 15.000 votes from the people of Zaječar went to the opposition lists.
"There are 15.000 normal, honest and honorable people in Zaječar who voted for change, and the Serbian Progressive Party had to steal, buy, threaten, blackmail, bring people from outside, raise people from their graves, in order to get only 14.000 votes. Zaječar is liberated and the people of Zaječar are free," he said.
Miladin Krstić from "United for the Rescue of Zaječar" said that they have submitted applications to the municipal election commission and will ask for a repeat of the election.
