Progressives come to Vučić's rally Movements for the people and the state, which takes place in Belgrade on April 12. This is the case with dozens of Serbs Kosova left on Sunday, April 6, on foot towards Belgrade, while a group from the north of the country, from Novi Sad, left a day later.
From Kosovo with the people
Pedestrians from Kosovo started their journey from Rudnica, a place near the Jarinje administrative crossing, reports N1.
"We left Kosovo for Belgrade to support our president Aleksandar Vučić and our Serbia."
"The road is not very easy. The weather is very bad, but we are holding on, with all these people who are with us and who support us all the way. They play music, show three fingers and give us the wind at our backs," one of the pedestrians told the Kosovo online portal.
As he claims, the group includes people from Gračanica, Leposavic, Zubina Potok, Kosovska Mitrovica, Zvečani and "from all over Kosovo".
During the walk, the participants shout "Kosovo is the heart of Serbia" and "Long live Aleksandar Vučić", and numerous Serbian flags can also be seen. On the way along the Ibar highway, they are followed by police vehicles, as well as civilian buses and cars.
They were welcomed in Kraljevo with music, torches and service, and the mayor also welcomed them Predrag Terzic, who is known to a wider audience as a progressive politician who has been hit by the most eggs from disgruntled citizens in recent times.
During the walk, an incident took place because the progressives from the column beat up Boško Jolović (7) from Bogutovac on Monday, April 23, reports Nova.rs. Jolović was attacked after he told the men on foot that they were uncles. He suffered a broken nose and body injuries.

Zoran Savić from the NGO Aktiv from Kosovo told Danas that the departure of a group of Serbs from Kosovo to a rally in support of the formation of some kind of movement is another in a series of reactive moves by the authorities in Belgrade, specifically by President Aleksandar Vučić, who "almost identically copies the methods applied by students in the blockade all over Serbia for months, and now outside the country's borders - by bicycle to Strasbourg".
While the students slept outside, Students 2.0 rested inside the school
Pedestrians from Novi Sad also set out for the rally in Belgrade on Tuesday (April 8), and among them are dozens of people posing as students.
Just as the students who were walking around Serbia slept en masse in the schools, at least where they wanted to let them, so the progressives and the students who want to learn - copied this maneuver as well. Those walking from Novi Sad to Vučić's rally slept in Inđija at the "Petar Kočić" school.
The only difference is that the students in blockades who walked from Belgrade to Novi Sad at the end of January 2025 in Inđija had to sleep under the open sky because they were not allowed to spend the night in the sports center of the city.
Now students who want to study were met in front of the gymnasium by citizens, who told them that they were fake students and woke them up with a megaphone, reports N1. At the main entrance, people gathered to support the walkers, and among them were councilors of the ruling coalition, directors of public companies, as well as the president of the municipality of Inđija, Marko Gašić.
Among the walkers from Novi Sad, the largest number are young men, who carry Serbian and Novi Sad flags, and while walking they chant "Kosovo is the heart of Serbia", but no one wants to make a statement for N1.
