Aleksandar Vučić said that he spoke with Dijana Hrka and Uglješa Mrdić, who are on hunger strike, and invited Hrka to a meeting at the presidency to discuss the continuation of the protest. Hrka confirmed that she had heard from Vučić and said that she "will not step on his feet"
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić announced this morning through his Instagram profile with a video message, in which he stated that he spoke on the phone with Dijana Hrka, who is on strike near Ćaciland, and Uglješa Mrdić, who is on hunger strike on the steps of the Serbian Parliament.
Vučić stated that during the conversation he asked Hrka and Mrdić to stop the strike, stressing his concern for their health. The president also invited Diana Hrka to the presidency for a meeting, stressing that he hopes to make a decision on ending the protest.
Hrka: I will not go to the feet of the president of Serbia
The mother of the young man who lived under the Novi Sad canopy, Diana Hrko, who is on hunger strike at the Serbian Parliament for the ninth day, said that she "will not go to the feet" of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and pointed out that the focus should be on the cannon attack that was directed this morning at her tent at the Serbian Parliament, where she is on hunger strike for the ninth day.
"I spoke with the president, but I don't want to comment on it in detail. I would, however, focus on the cannon fire that was fired at my tent this morning. The president announced that he had heard from me, but he did not say how the cannon fire was directed at me. I think it is more important to talk about it, than that I heard from the president," Diana Hrka told FoNet regarding Vučić's phone call.
According to her, on the ninth day of the hunger strike, she feels weak.
"I'm a little weak, but it'll pass," said Diana Hrka, who started a hunger strike on November 2, demanding the truth and responsibility for the death of her son and 15 other people in the fall of the canopy at the Novi Sad Railway Station, the release of all illegally detained students and the calling of early parliamentary elections.
Dijana Hrka started her hunger strike on November 2, the day after the anniversary of the fall of the canopy in Novi Sad and the commemorative rally. Her demands include the prosecution of those responsible for the Novi Sad tragedy, the release of detained students and the calling of early parliamentary elections.

The performance of the Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković in connection with the Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime does not, admittedly, exude special acting talent, but it faithfully portrays the nature of the progressive government.
Declaring that Vučić is the real target of the Prosecutor's Office for organized crime, Selaković almost alluded to the American anti-mafia law RICO - not only those who directly participated in criminal acts are prosecuted, but also those who were at the head of the organization that committed them. And it is known who leads the progressive government
