"Police officer Lazar Baćić, who is on Monday evening injured in front of the Radio and Television of Serbia (RTS), he certainly received a couple of blows from his colleagues, but he certainly also received blows from the students who blocked the building of the public broadcaster," said the President of Serbia on Tuesday evening Aleksandar Vučić.
He told Informer television that Baćić was "mapped for an attack" because, regardless of the fact that he was in civilian clothes, he had police insignia, whatever that means. I guess the "mapping" was supposed to give this statement some conspiratorial overtones, like - the student thugs followed him and marked him as a target.
"They 'mapped' him because he was waiting for his unit and as the real deputy commander who should carry it out, they saw him before the others," explained Vučić, so whoever believes, believes.
What about the boxer?
Previously, Vučić stated that a student "hit Baćić in the head with a boxer" and presented this as the ultimate proof that student protests are violent.
And then he appeared. shot which proves the opposite, in which it is clearly seen that Baćić is hit hard in the head by a colleague in full equipment for breaking up demonstrations and knocked to the concrete, so the whole construction of the president of the state about violent students fell into the water and left him in the wind as a liar.
It was necessary to remove stains, so he ran to Informer television to that wonderful man Dragan J. Vučićević in front of an audience that is most inclined to believe him, and not their own eyes.
Non-competent institution
Then Vučić again felt the need to show everyone that he asks about everything and that everyone answers to him.
He said that he contacted the MUP and asked why they intervened, and received the answer that they were responding to an attack.
In the midst of protests across the country in which hundreds of thousands of citizens are telling him not to interfere in affairs that exceed his authority and to stop violating the Constitution, he showed that he is not afraid of it.
He didn't even manage to listen to what the Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dacic had to say, but as if he wanted to lead the investigation into the injury of the policeman Lazar Baćić.
Students harass people.
Vučić also said that the blockade of RTS was "mistreatment of people", that no one "could bring food or medicine" to the employees, although he did not say who was sick.
"You have created a classic hostage crisis," the president of the country threw the students in the face.
"And the whole of Serbia flatters them, no one is allowed to write." The people from the party I love the most are silent as if watered. Where did you get the right to block anyone? Do you remember when at one o'clock they demonstrated in front of the N1 and threw some leaflets? The whole world and the scum of the ambassador said that it was terrible violence, and no one was forbidden to enter or leave," said Vučić, again emphasizing how brave he is and that he can say what no one else can.
They are a mob.
So he thought that the students had falsely accused RTS journalist Bojana Mlađenović, who was interviewing him.
"They lied, accusing Bojana Mlađenović that she was to blame for everything, because of something she said. The woman was even scared that she said 'mob'. So what is it but a mob," added Vučić.
What does police officer Baćić say?
The injured member of the Gendarmerie, Lazar Baćić, stated that a thorough investigation will determine how he was injured, and that he received several blows to the body and head in front of the RTS building, and that from the force of one blow, which he thought was a metal object, i.e. a "boxer", he lost consciousness, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
That is the shot of his colleague that can be seen in the video.
In the statement, the Ministry stated that it was transmitting Baćić's statement regarding the different interpretations of the private telephone conversation that Baćić had with the husband of his retired colleague.
"Last night, during the engagement with my unit, I had the task of non-violently entering the RTS building and securing it from the inside, while my unit was stopped and attacked," Baćić said, adding that he does not know who hit him.
