Three-day "people's parliament" in Belgrade will determine the political scene in the coming period and the way of life of the people, said the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, in one of his chronic guest appearances on Pink.
"I dare to say - until 2035," said Vučić. He repeated that he will present his "demands" at the meeting, which will certainly be in accordance with the Constitution and laws.
Vučić apparently modestly said that this does not mean his desire to be so much "someone in power", but that it should be seen how the average salary exceeds 2.000 euros, and the average pension 1.000 euros.
"Spark of Freedom"
Thus, with much fanfare, the three-day gathering of Vučić's "Movement for the People and the State" begins, for which the municipal committees of the Serbian Progressive Party and many public and private companies received the quotas earlier how many people they have to gather.
On Thursday (April 10) evening, Vučić appeared in Pionirski Park, the popular Ćaciland, where he again played chess with the crowd.
That park, between the Presidency and the Assembly, has been fenced off, a forbidden zone, for months as is the wider center of Belgrade these days. Several students and dozens of people who are paid daily wages are camping in the park, and everything is guarded by the police.
But "students who want to learn" are the "spark of freedom," the president said. He, playing a game of chess with one of the students, said: "For months our country was in chess, not in checkmate, but in check."
Won again
But, according to Vučić, all that is now in the past, he once again defeated the fictional colored revolution. As he said on Pinko, the students in the blockades of the faculty had the support of 75 percent of the citizens, and now only 40 percent because the people will not destroy their state.
He added that those who wanted to use violence to seize power will be told that they failed. "The state showed the face of justice. They tried to overthrow Serbia, they failed and they never will," said Vučić.
On the day when, according to his suggestion, it started mass arrest of government critics - from the Peščanik columnist to the attack on the Faculty of Medicine in Niš - Vučić said that he will do everything to ensure that there is no "revenge" and that there is "tolerance".
So he announced further gatherings of his movement, in Nis, Novi Sad and other places.
