Namely, earlier today, November 23, President Aleksandar Vučić first stated that since this morning there is no good news when it comes to the Oil Industry of Serbia, and that is why he convened a meeting with the teams in charge of the country's energy stability and security at 17 p.m., saying that Serbia will find a solution even in this situation.

"Everything is difficult since this morning. And when you feel like that, it's best to be with your people. That gives me energy."

Handanović and Macut
And during that time, the Minister of Energy Dubravka Đedović Handanović spoke with the General Director of the Oil Industry of Serbia Kiril Tjurdenjev and members of the Board of Directors of NIS about oil reserves and oil derivatives and the status of the Pancevo oil refinery and stated that a response from the USA is expected in the next two to three days, and that Serbia is ready for all scenarios.
"We hope for the best, but we must be prepared for the worst scenario," said the minister.
Also today, Prime Minister Djuro Macut hosted a lunch for a group of Arab ambassadors as part of the Food Vision event at the Fourth Open Balkans Wine Vision Fair. In a statement, the government stated that they discussed the cooperation between Serbia and the Arab countries in a slightly more informal atmosphere, looking at the potential for its further improvement. Oil was not mentioned in the statement.
Vučić, yesterday
Yesterday, let's recall, President Vučić said that he spoke with the Americans about the NIS and that he would present more information about it within 48 hours. He explained that the Americans want to see all the details of the contract, and this is not possible in the short term, and that taking over the Russian share in NIS is the last option for our country.
