In Sremski Karlovci the commemoration of the Day of Remembrance of the victims and exiles in the Croatian armed action "Storm" was held.
The ceremony was attended by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, with the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, who stood on his right, and Tomislav Nikolic, the former President of Serbia, who stood on Vučić's left.

Apart from them, the ceremony was attended by Serbian Patriarch Porfirije, whose message opened the meeting, officials from Serbia and Republika Srpska, as well as a large number of citizens.
Dodik
After Patriarch Porfirije urged those present to remember the victims but not to misremember them, Milorad Dodik told Oluja that "it was the action of the American government, Clinton and others, who handed them over to Croatian soldiers. It ended in ethnic cleansing, so there is no chance that the Serbian people will return there."
He said that "the RS is dignified and great, tied to Serbia, which it will remain. We don't want them to divide and separate us, they didn't give us freedom, they've been doing that for centuries.
We must come together, the RS wants to see a strong and great Serbia. Why do some people mind the big one? Heroic, big, strong, developing? This Serbian people, if they want a future, must stand behind Vučić, this is not a political rally, but a message that must be clear to everyone!"
He also said that Bosnia and Herzegovina is not his country, but Serbia and Republika Srpska.
Vucic
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, guaranteed the Republika Srpska that it will not be abolished as some say, and reminded that Yugoslavia was destroyed so that the Serbs would not live in one state.
He also reminded how the West has been oppressing the Serbian people since the "Storm" until today, and pointed out that it is "fed up with their lies". He reminded: "three and a half years ago we had elections in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, they recognized the elections with a two percent turnout, and that was democracy?", and said "Shame on you, bastards!".
And then that the people noticed that whenever they want to say something to the Serbs, "those" from the region say "you're going to use tractors again". He stated that the "Storm" was carried out when Serbia was at its weakest, and with the help of the USA and the world's largest powers.
In the end, he said "to those who are calling for a Storm in Serbia and the RS, I have said countless times, please don't try, no more Storms will succeed. We will never allow you to endanger the freedom of Serbs again!"
During the ceremony in Sremski Karlovci, it rained heavily.
