Lawyer and deputy of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Vladimir Djukanovic he stated on Wednesday that on March 15 last year in the TV Informer studio, he was "joking with the use of 'sound cannon''" by "reading someone's text message" and that he has no problem with possibly being invited to an informative interview at the Criminal Police Directorate (UKP).
When asked if he expected such an invitation and the remark that on March 15, 2025, in the live program of TV Informer, together with the editor-in-chief Dragan J. Vučićević, he celebrated the use of a "sound cannon", while ordering songs such as "The wind blows a little over the liver" and "No one can do anything to us...", Đukanović said that he did not celebrate anything.
"We were joking about the use of a 'sound cannon', because I think that no normal person could use that weapon. I just read a message in the program from someone who ordered a song. And as for the informative conversation, feel free, I can't wait, let them call me a hundred times for that, with great pleasure and singing I will go and order another song," said Đukanović.
In the live broadcast of TV Informer, Đukanović said: "Here's a special one, he says if he can about this sound cannon: 'Blow the wind a little over the liver'", while Vučićević added that the song is "only for the 'sound cannon'."
The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade launched a preliminary investigation due to the suspicion that students organized a "simulation" of the use of sound weapons at a protest on March 15 last year in the center of Belgrade with the aim of provoking a civil war.
So far, military analyst Aleksandar Radić, lawyer Aleksandar Olenik, editor-in-chief of Srbin.info Dejan Petar Zlatanović and president of the Serbia Center party Zdravko Ponoš have been invited to an informational interview.
