Higher public prosecution (VJT) in Belgrade announced that the former deputy chief of the Criminal Police Directorate, N.Đ, was arrested, in the continuation of the investigation into the crimes committed in the "Steak and Wine Bar" restaurant. It is about a shooting in the presence of numerous guests in that bar on Autokomanda in Belgrade, which took place on November 5 last year, and for which the suspect is Saša Vuković aka Boske, who came into the public eye recently as a direct suspect in the murder of Aleksandar Nešović in the restaurant "27" in Senjak.
Suspect N.Đ, who was arrested by order of the Special Department for Suppression of Corruption of the VJT, is charged with the criminal offense of "abuse of official position".
According to the VJT, there are grounds for suspicion that N.Đ, using his official position, influenced other suspects to remove evidence and traces from the catering establishment that would indicate that the suspect Saša Vuković committed the criminal acts of "causing general danger" and "illegal production, possession, carrying and trafficking of weapons and explosive materials", in which way he obtained a benefit.
On the occasion of that criminal-legal event, an investigation was launched against Saša V, and evidentiary actions are being carried out against six other persons - five members of the Intervention Unit 92 of the Duty Service of the Police Administration for the City of Belgrade and the director of the restaurant.
Suspect N.Đ. he was detained for up to 48 hours, and within that period he will be brought to a hearing before the Special Department for the Suppression of Corruption of the Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade.
What happened
We remind you that Saša Vuković, aka Boske, is suspected of causing danger to life and limb of people by using a firearm on November 5, 2025 at around 18 p.m., in such a way that, after a verbal argument and a fight with Miloš Nilović, aka Runjo, he pulled a fifth-generation "Glock" model 17 pistol from his belt, for which he did not have a permit to carry, and fired from it into the bar where the larger the number of guests, during which the fired projectile broke the glass on the door of the aforementioned bar, they conclude from VJT.
