The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, said in an interview with CNN that Kosovo is facing unprecedented challenges arising from "an act of aggression ordered by the state of Serbia".
According to him, the action in the village of Banjska was carried out by "terrorist and paramilitary groups", which did not happen suddenly and suddenly, but was well planned and with the intention of annexing the north of Kosovo according to the "Crimean scenario".
"Our forces prevented that plan, and sending the army around the border with Kosovo, not only in the north, shows plans to destabilize the region in order to allow Russian President Vladimir Putin to open a new front with the West in the Western Balkans," said Osmani Christian Amanpour. .
Sanctions should be imposed on Serbia.
She emphasized that it is very important to impose sanctions on Serbia, because otherwise it will be encouraged to use violence again, not only in Kosovo, but also against other countries in the region.
The President of Kosovo also spoke about the fact that there is "clear video evidence of training on the territory of Serbia, in military bases", and that the weapons that were seized were produced six weeks ago and that "they are not weapons used by ordinary citizens, but by the army".
She said about Radoičić that he was Vučić's closest collaborator in the destabilization of the region and a person who is on the blacklist of the USA and Great Britain, that he participated in the meetings of the National Security Council of Serbia and sat next to Vučić, and that Belgrade is now hiding behind him. And the Kosovo authorities, he says, will publish "very clear evidence that the orders came from Vučić" in the coming days.
Formation of ZSO
Asked about the dialogue with Belgrade and the formation of the Union of Serbian Municipalities, Osmani emphasized that Kosovo "is under attack and is the target of aggression" and the first thing that should be done is that Radoičić and "other terrorists" be handed over to Kosovo, where justice will be carried out.
Kosovo is the only constructive side in the dialogue with Belgrade, Osmani said, and that Pristina has fulfilled 99 percent of its obligations, while Vučić keeps saying that he wants to negotiate, but never fulfills what was agreed upon.
Kosovo, he says, has assumed obligations from the February Brussels Agreements and the Ohrid Annex, is committed to implementation and is not running away from the ZSO, because Article 7 provides for self-government for Serbs. But Kosovo wants a balance, a fair relationship, and the lack of that in the process encourages Vučić to behave as he does, so it seems to her that he thinks he got away with this act of aggression, but that he was grossly mistaken.
