This week, the interrogations of the citizens who reported will begin complaints after the March 15 protest in Belgrade, when a mass of people during the delivery of mail to the victims took refuge from the street in panic, announced the First Basic Prosecutor's Office.
As told to Insider by the prosecutor's office, which is conducting the investigation, more than a hundred citizens with complaints have been identified so far and they will be invited to give statements.
"The prosecutor's office plans to take statements from more than a hundred citizens, but that does not necessarily mean the final number. In parallel, an investigation is being conducted to determine whether there were more citizens with complaints and their identity," Insider writes.
The subject was formed on March 16, a day after the meeting organized by students in Belgrade.
During the delivery of mail to the victims who died when the canopy of the Novi Sad railway station fell, the citizens gathered in Kralja Milana Street heard an unpleasant sound that disturbed them.
Soon there were allegations that a "sound cannon" was used, and those claims were repeatedly denied by representatives of the authorities.
In the meantime, the Russian FSB arrived in Serbia at the invitation of the authorities, with the task of determining what happened on March 15.
