The panel of the High Court in Belgrade made a decision that the Veselin Milić defend from freedom because all legal grounds for detention, announced N1. It is a decision from today.
The panel found that all legal grounds for detention have ended. The decision was immediately implemented and Milić left the Central Prison in Belgrade, Radar writes.
Let us remind you that in Senjak, in the restaurant "27", on May 12, Aleksandar Nešović aka Baja, an alleged member of the so-called Keka's group, was killed.
The suspect as the direct perpetrator is Saša Vuković Boske, who has been in custody since May 14. Nešović's body was found in a barrel buried near the Jarkovački lake, not far from Inđija.
In this case, Veselin Milić, the former head of the Belgrade police, was also arrested. Initially, it was suspected that the crime was committed in the presence of Milić and that he, together with three other police officers from his security, participated in removing traces of the crime, but those criminal charges were dismissed.
Milić is charged with failure to report a criminal offense, i.e. murder.
