To the former head of the Belgrade police Veselin Milić today (June 12.6) the detention was extended for another 30 days, due to circumstances that indicate that, in the event of his release, he will destroy, hide, alter or falsify evidence or traces of a criminal offense.
The defendant is charged with the crime of failure to report the crime and the perpetrator.
Higher public prosecution (VJT) proposed to the judge to extend the custody of seven suspects, including Milić, for 30 days, in the case of the murder of Aleksandar Nešović in the restaurant "27" in Senjak.
As added in the announcement, an extension of detention was proposed for Marija S, Danka V, as well as Nenada L. and Dejana S, Jasna Ž. As well as Saša Vuković, accused of murdering Aleksandar Nešović Baja.
We remind you that on June 9, the VJT rejected the criminal complaint against Veselin Milić, where he is charged with the crime of Assisting the perpetrator after the crime has been committed. According to the VJT, there are no grounds for suspicion that a criminal offense has been committed, for which he is being prosecuted ex officio.
Veselin Milić was arrested together with 10 other people for the murders of Aleksandar Nešović Baja in the restaurant "27" in Senjak in mid-May. On May 21, Nešović's body was found in a barrel on the territory of the municipality of Inđija, in the presence of public prosecutors of the VJT.
