The progressive machinery is working at full steam, people are brought in organized to verify the signature in support of the list "Aleksandar Vučić - United Serbia", the regime media narrateshistoric, never-before-seen, support of the people to the beloved leader, were the first to submit certified signatures to the REC.
Everything has already been seen.
What has not been seen in the 14 years of the Serbian Progressive Party's rule is that one of its rivals is so willing to enter the election game, as she did. "Student List - Students Win".
Not only were they the first to organize a rally after the elections were officially announced, but the students didn't even bother to start collecting and verifying signatures.
And the voters seemed to be waiting like cocked rifles. Tens of thousands of people flocked all over Serbia to sign their support for the Student List.
In some places, the wait was for hours.
Notary obstruction in Zrenjanin
There was also the usual game with notaries, of whom there were either not enough, or they were late, or they did not want to work on weekends, or something else, just to make life miserable for those who are not in favor of the regime that established them.
Students in the blockade of the Technical Faculty "Mihajlo Pupin" in Zrenjanin announced that citizens in that city will not be able to sign the Student List because there is no notary to certify them.
"Out of seven of them in the municipality of Zrenjanin, not a single one agrees to certify the signatures of the citizens' support this weekend, citing that they are not free on Saturday and Sunday," the publication quoted Zrenjaninski.com as saying.
The same story in Zemun.
At Avijatičarsko in Zemun, signatures of support for the Student List have been collected since this morning, and from the very beginning a column of citizens has been formed, some of whom have been waiting for five hours, reports portal N1.
Lawyer Ana Videnov stated that the formation of crowds occurs because signatures are certified by only one notary from the City Administration of Zemun, while despite timely requests, they do not have a notary public.
"There is a big crowd here because we only have one certifier from the municipality of Zemun, although we asked for two," explains lawyer Ana Videnov.
He says that despite the crowd, the mood is good. "People, like all these months before, are firmly with the students and the student list. Therefore, they will stay here as long as necessary," says Videnov.
