The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office announced that the detention of RS from Kikinda (48) for up to 67 hours, who during the public rally "Stop, Serbia" at the corner of Studentski trg and Uzun Mirkova streets, drove his "Pezzo" vehicle into the participants and injured four people .
RS was detained due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the crime of Violent behavior at a public meeting or sports event, according to VJT.
Within the specified period, the suspect will be brought to the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade for questioning, after which a decision will be made on further action.

Four members of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra were run over on Friday when an elderly man ran into them with a car at full speed, after they left the rehearsal for the fifteen-minute action "Stop, Serbia", in which citizens paid their respects to the victims in Novi Sad, "Vremena" confirmed ".
Namely, the car hit a group of rally participants who were standing at the pedestrian crossing. According to eyewitnesses, the car was driven by a 60-year-old man, who, at full throttle, knocked down six people. The injured were immediately transported to the hospital by ambulance, reports nova.rs.
"We stood at the pedestrian crossing, independently of the students. A vehicle driven by an elderly man came from the direction of Student Square. He insisted that one man move so that he would turn right. However, as he could not pass, he hit several people who were on the pedestrian crossing. Then people started shouting: 'Stop, where are you going? You are stepping on people at the pedestrian crossing,'" says the NB eyewitness
Among the injured is a 58-year-old member of the Philharmonic.
As an act of solidarity with their colleagues, the orchestras of the National Theater in Belgrade and the National Theater in Novi Sad canceled performances on Friday.
The Belgrade Philharmonic also confirmed to "Vremena" that their members were injured, with reports that the injured were transferred to the Emergency Center.

After the trampling of their members, the Belgrade Philharmonic also issued a statement, appealing to law enforcement authorities to do everything within their jurisdiction regarding the incident.
"A part of the musicians of the Belgrade Philharmonic decided to pay respect to the victims of the accident that happened in Novi Sad as an expression of their personal act today during a break in the dress rehearsal. While the group of musicians was at the pedestrian crossing in Uzun Mirkova Street, they were hit by a vehicle that drove through the crowd without stopping. Four musicians of the Belgrade Philharmonic were injured in this incident. Members of the MUP came to the scene of the incident to carry out an investigation, and the ambulance provided assistance to the injured and transported them to the emergency center in order to provide them with adequate medical care," the statement said.
In the following, the Belgrade Philharmonic says that it is "an institution that is primarily responsible for its employees and therefore strongly condemns the act of violence committed against them in expressing their personal civic opinion."
