An office building in Petrovac na Mlava, with an area of 950 square meters, is offered for sale. it is stated in the sales advertisement.
As it was emphasized, the building was built without a building permit, but it was registered in the real estate register.
The sale will be carried out by public bidding on July 17, 2023.
The stated estimated value is not binding according to any criteria, with the fact that if someone offers a price that is less than half of the estimated value, the approval for the sale must be given by the Board of Creditors.
The bankruptcy of the Zrenjanin beer industry was opened on July 14, 2010, and its bankruptcy was declared soon after. A few days ago, the sale of Vršačka pivara, a company that is also in bankruptcy, was announced.
From master brewer to controversial businessman
The Zrenjanin beer industry is one of the oldest breweries, where beer was continuously produced from 1745 to 2006.
In 1745, master brewer Sebastian Krajcezen opened the first workshop for beer production. After him, one of the largest landowners in Vojvodina, Lazar Dunđerski, entered the scene, who bought the Zrenjanin brewery towards the end of the 19th century and significantly expanded the production facilities.
After the end of the Second World War, the descendant of the famous family and the owner, Dušan Dunđerski, allegedly donated the factory to the Communist Party, and it continued to operate as part of the "Servo Mihalj" combine. Until 2003, it was one of the largest and most famous breweries in this part of Europe. So that in 2003, the controversial Vojvodina businessman Momčilo Rajić, known by the nickname Spas, for 912.000 euros, came into possession of 51,04 percent of ZIP's capital, and shortly thereafter stopped production.
