Trump answered a question from reporters outside the White House during a press conference on Monday. The journalist reminded him that the USA launched a strategic dialogue with Serbia three months ago and asked him how he sees the cooperation between the two countries.
Trump interrupted the question and answered briefly: "We have very good relations with Serbia."
The American president did not further explain his answer, nor did he specify which areas of cooperation he was referring to.

The first meeting of the strategic dialogue between Serbia and the USA was held on July 17 in Washington. The talks were led by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Serbian Foreign Minister Marko ฤuriฤ.
According to a joint statement after the meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening bilateral partnership and expanding cooperation in the fields of energy, infrastructure, defense, trade and investment. A memorandum of understanding on energy infrastructure and regional energy security was also signed then.
Trump's statement followed a few months after the launch of the strategic dialogue, which Belgrade presented as an important step in improving relations with Washington.
