Ferry Kamenari-Lepetani: Kilometer columns

Early this morning, a kilometer-long column of vehicles was formed from the direction of Herceg Novi. At 6:00 a.m., only two ferries were operating on the Kamenari-Lepetani line, Montenegrin media reports

Passengers wait up to two hours to board the ferry, and there are members of the traffic and municipal police on the ground trying to restore order and reduce crowds.

There were also big crowds in the previous days because, according to drivers, there are not enough ferries in the early morning hours to speed up the transit of cars through the Bay of Kotor.

The Lepetane - Kamenari ferry connects the two sides of the Boka Kotorska and makes it possible to shorten the journey by about 30 km, i.e. about 40 minutes by car. However, in the height of the summer season, large crowds often form.

There are 4 ferries on this line that can connect up to 50 passenger cars.
